You can be vaccinated against rabies course of 3 injections

While I know a little about rabies (not from personal experience) I think you would get better information if you just entered "rabies" into your browser and see which sites it finds. I've gotten pretty good information on a lot of different subjects by doing just that.
(Just checked myself and there are some really good sites with information about rabies. Give it a try.)

You can obtain information from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, who are well placed to give you lots of information. I have always found them to be most helpful.
