Hi! Forgetting things that happened within miutes to about a week. Short term memory. They will usually remember long term memory stuff. (like when they were young) They will answer questions with vague answers like "What is today?" They will say like--"a day before tomorrow!" They will forget the last time they ate. They will forget leaving a pot on the stove cooking. They will forget making a phone call. etc. Good luck!

Are you worried about yourself or someone you know, or are you just asking for general knowledge? Probably the MOST common sign is confusion, along with short term memory problems. There are many subtle signs tho' and I would recommend a Google search for sites if you are looking for telltale signs in someone in particular. Leave a more detailed question if you would like more details, I'll watch for it.
