Hi there. Since yesterday, I have had sharp pains on the left side of my chest. I also have tight shoulder pain on the same side. The pain is very sharp and makes it hurt to take a breath. It lasts for a couple of seconds then comes and goes repeatedly for a few minutes. Then it is gone and then a little while later happens again. It is really bothersome. I am 25 years old and in pretty good health. I am not overweight and try to stay active. Does anyone know what this might be?

Yesterday I cooked a crock pot of 15 bean soup. I added a can of diced tomoatoes, onion, chili powder, and when the beans were done, I added cut up smoked sausage. We ended up getting invited to a friends house for dinner and so I just put the beans in the refrigerator to save for dinner today. Well, this morning we woke up and our refrig. had gone out and nothing was cool! Including the beans, matter of fact, they never completely cooled down. I plugged them back in this morning and turned on low. Do you think we should eat these or I should throw them out? I would hate to make my kids and husband sick!!

For the past 10 years, I have been diagnosed as having chronic depression, chronic anxiety, and mild schizophrenia. I am now 19 and on several different strong medications. They more or less keep me tranquilized and I just stay in my room all day. I never graduated school, and I just quit my job of 2 1/2 years. Right now I feel like I am so dependent on everyone that I lost myself somewhere. My mom and my family both think that I need to get anyway and find who I am and achieve independence. Thats why we decided that I should move down to Florida with my aunt and uncle (whom I'm also very close with) and kind'of build my life back up again. Return to school, get a part-time job, and learn how to drive.

I grew up in Florida and I absolutely love it. My question to you is, do you think this will help me achieve something? I'm also going to ween myself off of my medication. I believe sun-shine beats medicine anyday. I'm really scared and don't know if I will last. What do you think?

I have this cold, with this really annoying cough. I've gone to the Dr. just recently and he told me I have Ashma, I got this inhaler for it but I still keep coughing...Any suggestions how to reduce the amount of coughing that I am going through?

I am on Wellbutrin and Lexapro (600mg & 20mg) respectively. All the warning labels and medical stuff on the internet say that if you accidentially miss a dose to take the next one and do not douple-up. They also are explicit in saying that if you start to feel better, to NOT STOP taking the drugs. What happens if I do?

I was recently diagnosed with having anxiety/panic attacks. My doctor has prescribed me xanax, which I have been taking everyday for a month. Are there any vitamins or natural ingredient products that I can take because I don't want to be on xanax longterm. I plan on seeing my Doctor again pretty soon, and I want to ask him about some alternatives. Im an 18 year old girl in high school. And I just went to get my check-up, and I found out that I'm 99 1/2 pounds! I'm also 5 feet and 1 inch tall. For my height (5'1) is this the average weight for a 18 year old 5'1 girl like me?!?!? I'm not anorexic, nor am I bulimic. My parents say I don't eat alot. Which is true. But I feel healthy, is this a problem?!?!?

i wen t to the doctor with bck pain, just so he could give me some painkillers, he said that he has found a lump in my back, and that my kidney is very enlarged, should i be worried? he says he thinks it could be a cyst, but hes not sure, and now i have to wait to go to hospital.

im confused as i thought my kidneys were in tip top condition as i am not a drinker, or does drinking have nothing to do with it

what should i expect at the hospital and should i be worried, im only nearly 19.
