It is only serious if left untreated. Because there are many different types of thyroid medication, there is usually a treatment for everyone. These are symptoms of hypothyroidism. Notice how some are serious. Symptoms include; weight gain, IBS with constipation, fatigue, mood changes, low blood pressure, slow heart rate, low body temp, cold feet, hairloss, dry skin, depression, sleep apnea, muscle and joint aches, increased cholesterol levels, sensitivity to light, heart problems, and coma.
