I had food allergy testing done and was given a food allergy drop of sorts by the doc. I took it everyday and somehow I think it was suppose to help you build up some kind of immunity to the allergies. Just like those who get allergy shots. You start out getting just a test shot and as you build up immunity you change dosage until you don't need a shot as often.

Basically you have to monitor what you eat on a daily basis. You start with things that you know will not cause allergies. Introduce new things and take note of all the contents, if you get a reaction stop using it and try something else.
Your best bet is to see an Allergy Specialist to see if you are allergic to something common. If they can't find anything you'll probably have to figure it out on your own with introducing certain foods. Most times they will monitor you when you try foods (just in case you have a severe reaction).

The first thing you need to do is get tested for food allergies so you know what is causing it. There is no cure right now for food allergies but once you see the allergist and get tested he can suggest things that might help.

You MUST find out what is causing the reaction. If the itching & swelling is in your mouth or throat, it can cause you to stop breathing.
You could also go into anaphylactic shock, just like people who are allergic to bee stings do.
If you can't afford allergy testing right away, you can try an elimination diet. But you need to get tested by an allergist as soon as possible.

You need to start keeping a food diary. Write down every thing that you eat and drink, how much, and what time.
Also note any and all reactions.
Follow this until you see a pattern.
Then go to an allergist.
There is NO CURE for allergies.
The only treatment is complete avoidance.

you need to start paying attention to what you eat and take note of the effect......I suffer from the same problem and when I itch and swell I take cetrizine tablets ( one tab per day) and apply clobetasol propionate cream on the itchy areas.this helps me .try it maybe you will find some relief.
