I need to lose 20 pounds within the next 2 - 3 months. I would really appreciate some regimens, menus, or words of wisdom. I have all the time necessary since I'm not employed but I have little motivation and no idea how to do this quickly and effectively. I hate running so that's out of the question but I love to walk or hike so if you could incorporate that it would be good. Also, my problem areas are my hips, thighs, and butt so focus on those areas would be appreciated. Abs are not much of a problem (30in waist). Neither are arms (they get cut fast!) Just really the bottom! Everyone tells me running is best but I hate to because there are no sports bras for your butt!!! I used to do Tae Kwon Do but don't know of any instructional DVDs. Also, please be realistic with menu suggestions as I am not rich and can not buy tofu or fish every day! Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

wake up 20 minutes earlier before getting dressed for school and excercise to some music.

for breakfast: a fruit or half a turkey sandwich

lunch: the other half of that turkey sandwich from breakfast and a fruit or vegetable.
after school.....
i then go outside and excersise by playing basketball or soccer for about 45 minutes

then for dinner: no starches, small portion size of meat and all the vegetables you cant eat with a glass of water.

ill try ro drink 4 glasses of water a day.

please tell me if this is a good diet.

Pain has increased since last week and today it is worst. I am a housewife don't do much computer work. Only household work. Today i didn't do any special work that might bother my wrist but it still hurts since morning. Do anyone know what it could be? It is mild and I am able to tolerate the pain.

Hey I have a problem and I would like it if some of you helped me with it. The fixed rubber bands on my braces got loose because I ate candy when I shouldn't have and so I pulled them out using floss because I couldnt stand having them loose in my mouth. So now they are off. Is that dangerous or bad for my braces that the fixed rubber band is off? You know what Im talking about, the main rubber band that connects your braces. Please help, I dont see my ortho until Tuesday.

I recently pull a muscle in my leg and remembered that my grandpa used to swear by Epson salt soaks as a remedy for sore muscles. When I bought the box I noticed that it has a warning on the side that people with diabetes should not use it without consulting a physician. Why is it dangerous for diabetics?

I have tried most OTC medications to stop the throbbing pain, but NOTHING seems to work. I have also a prescription for allergy relief which is Singulair, but that's not helping with the pain. Can anyone suggest any other remedies? Thanks!

Patellorfemorl Pain Syndrome is also known as runner's knee. My doctor said just to put ice on my knees when they hurt, but it doesn't seem to help. Neither does heat. Does anyone know anything that might ease the pain?

I have panic/anxiety attacks where I have an adrenaline rush along with a host of other symptoms. What I notice is, after a bad attack, my body seems to calm itself down on it's own. What causes this calmness? Does the adrenaline/stress eventually drain from your system?

My ex is supposed to pay 1/2 of all uncovered medical/dental expenses, and my son needs braces. Is it possible to get the ortho's office to send him a bill and hold him responsible for his part, or will I have to pay it all and then deal with the ex on my own? Any ideas or other options? If possible, I'd like to hear from someone who works in an ortho's office or who has been in the same situation.

I have to see a gynecologist on Monday, and I've not seen one for about 12 years. I am overweight (very), and the last time I went to a gynecologist, it was a very bad experience, which is why I've not been back. Can anyone give me some tips on how to deal with this embarrassing and humiliating experience?
