I would be very careful popping a zit........my son did this this past week and has been ill ever since. His whole face swelled up, even his eyes. This was a doctor's visit. She prescribed very strong antibiotics, and she said bacteria had gotten in his system. He missed a whole week of work, Each day, A different part of his handsome face swelled up. Yesterday, his eyes were swollen closed. Please be very careful. Not a very good idea to mess with any bumps on your face.

sebaceous cyst, you can get it taken out many primary care docs do it some might send you to a dermatologist or surgeon

You need to see an MD. It can be something much more serious than a pimple, especially if it has lasted so long.

If you've had a pimple for ten years I strongly suggest you see a dermatologist.

It sounds like it's a sebaceous cyst

Not unusual. I got rid of one behind my ear by vigorously using a wash cloth on it daily.

sounds like a cyst not a zit . . .i'd get it checked out.

that sounds like an abscess or a sinus tract. get it checked out to rule out any kind of malignancy.

kassie's right, it does sound like a cyst. show your doc to be sure.
