I am 32 years old female and don't have any disease. Since last few weeks i have mild wrist pain especialy on my left wrist. I do have pain on my right wrist but it is less than my left wrist. Pain has increased since last week and today it is worst. I am a housewife don't do much computer work. Only household work. Today i didn't do any special work that might bother my wrist but it still hurts since morning. Do anyone know what it could be? It is mild and I am able to tolerate the pain.

Sounds like a repetitive motion injury. Carpal Tunnel is one form of this type of injury, so you can look that up to see if the symptoms match.

If you do the same thing every day, your ligaments can wear out. Try changing your routine; I got some pains in my wrist once and wound up doing everything with my other hand for a while, like holding the steering wheel or brushing my teeth. All of these activities add up, so try changing your daily activities and hopefully it will heal in a few weeks.

If you take a pain reliever, try to take it just at night; if you mask the pain, you will just continue to hurt the area worse until your pain reliever doesn't work anymore; then it's a BIG problem!

I wish you the best of luck; it's no fun to be in pain.

Gets complicated, but I would guess problem has originated in the back of your neck. Like a pinched nerve or even some calcium deposits which are pinching the nerve. In any event that is definitely a nerve being pinched from that area and going down to the wrists. I have the same thing only I know I have some arthritis. I will be seeing a neurologist which is the kind of Dr. you will need. I am in your position which is how I know this. I have had a lot of discussions with my Dr. and even got a cortisone shot. Good luck. You need to see the Dr. Its not going away.

I was also experiencing wrist pain. My doctor told me that it was carpal tunnel syndrome. When we sleep we often hold our hands in curled up positions. This puts pressure on the nerves. After a while the nerves are just very sensitive. They ache. Now I have wrist supports that my doctor suggested. They keep my wrists from curling in while I sleep. The pain is almost gone now. I asked a friend of mine who works at a physical therapy clinic where to get them. She made them for me. They were specially modeled for me. It was quick and easy.

Yes, see your doctor. Just because it's on both sides, it sounds a lot like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.... you can get that in ways other than typing. You also might have pinched nerve endings, strained some muscles, or have some kind of inflammation or muscle spasms on the insides of your wrists... it could be any number of things, really.
