I am considering purchasing sunglasses with the new Transitions Drivewear lenses. I would like to hear from someone who has tried them as to how they perform when going in/out of doors, say from bright sunlight into a store or theater. Does the green/yellow low-light tinting make indoor vision difficult?

I am currently on anitbiotics, doxcycline and I am also taking predisone because I have asthma, I have been sick with this for almost 6 weeks now, I keep everything clean around me and try to stay away from sick people. My concern is the antibiotics will not work, does anyone have any ideas for treating mycoplasma. My coughing it so horrible I am now vomitting after each meal. Any advice you can give me would be very helpful

i am 14 now and i am having my injection next week i am a girl by the way lmao! and i am scared about ow painfull it is?!?! i am also scared that this week i ahve lost a stone in 1 wek and they are going to weigh me and check my height and i am scared i will be undeerweight like anorexic or something and my mum will go bonkers if she finds out i have been loosing loads of weight! heeeeeelp me!

I'm dedicated to starting a vigorous workout regimen beginning tomorrow. I figured that I'm about 20 ~ 25 pounds overweight (6 feet tall, about 190 lbs, I'm shooting for getting down to 170). I did a little research and found out that cardio workouts are the way to burn fat (as opposed to weight lifting). So what's the most efficient cardio workout out there (what'll give me the most "band for my buck" so to speak). I have access to a gym that has just about everything (treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, stair steppers) so does anyone have any suggestions as to what's best? I'm basically looking to lose as much fat as possible in as little time as possible. Thanks!!

I really need help out there. My ex hus. and I share custody of our 4 yr old. I'm starting to worry that she's starting to go though what I did when I was married to him. I'll explain very briefly some of his behaviors because I'm thinking of trying to get full physical custody of her for her benefit. I'm really scared, so please help anyone if you have any advise! He is so paranoid. He hangs on minor details in discussions or words people might say to form his own sense of logic of what actually happened or what is intended..as if everyone is against him, trying to hurt him, or abuse him. The reality he is an extremely agressive individual. I was scared out of my mind of him until very recently. He had me convinced that I was the worst person in the world and that I was bad. That's the way he sees people as being bad and he has to punish them. He isn't capable of taking care of his financial needs or organize his life. Some of his behavior is absolutely suprizing in a bad way.

Hey guys,
I've been lifting weights at the gym for a couple of months now, and I usually go for the lighter ones. The problem is that all of the weights have serrated metal grips that often cut my hands...

I had my son nov 28th and at my 6wk appointment my ob said that i was still healing bc i still had a lil skin tag left..Its been almost 11 wks since the birth and i still have that "skin tag" & it doesnt seem any diff than at my 6wk checkup.. ive read that it should be healed by now unless it was a serious tear and it wasnt. should i call my dr 2 c if she can fix it or should i wait and see what happens? whats the average time frame of it completely healing?

I'm 6'0", I got into modeling at the age of 17, I weighed 133 pounds, lets just say i wasnt eating right. After my modelling aspirations grew tiresome, now at the age of 21, I assumed REGULAR eating habits. My weight sky rocketed to 189lbs. The heaviest I've been in my life. My weight soared and my self confidence plummeted. I didn't eat unhealthily either. Did my meabolism change as I got older? Can it really slow down THAT much? I started a food journal that really helps me, I do cardio about 3 times a week, and barn work and riding my horse about 5 times a week. I'm active, always on the go, I never sit around doing nothing! I STILL didn't lose weight. So, I went to the doctor and advised I do this food journal. I did. She found nothing wrong with how I eat and said I'm not losing weight because I don't need to. What an answer. So now, I'm starving myself, abusing laxatives and the weights coming off. WHY cant I lose weight like normal people with diet & exercise? =(

I got my MRI results and I wanted a translation in plain English just to see what other people make of this. Dont tell me to see a doctor and all that because I already have I just want some extra imput on these results.


MRI Right Shoulder:
Technique - Multiplanar, multisequence MRI of right shoulder was obtained.
Findings: There are hypertrophic changes at the right AC joint with increased signal and small AC joint effusion. There is bone marrow edema of the acromion likely post tramuatic in nature. The rotator cuff is intact. The glenoid labrum is not well visualized by unremarkable. The biceps tendon is appropriately located in the bicipital groove.

Impression: Right acromioclavicular arthropathy and bone marrow edema of the acromion likely post traumatic in nature. No evidence of displacement of ac separation. Rotator cuff intact.

I have also been taking Mucinex, albuterol for wheezing, cough syrup at night with hydrocodone. No fever, but am still weak. How long is it safe to use these asthma inhalers? Cause tremor and anxiety.

We are in the market for a new mattress and box spring set. Mattresses are easier to chose because you can try them in the store but we are illusive as to what we should do about a box spring. At this time I can not sleep in our bed because it causes to much pain. (I was in an accident a few months ago. I have sought medical attention and was told by the therapist that the type of bed I have does not offer enough support.) We currently have a split box spring. Do they give added support or should we give them up for a single box spring in addition to a firmer matttess, and if so what kind should we look into?
