WHAT are you being injected for? If its a Depo Provera shot, I would recommend trying something different at your age, since DP has been directly linked to bone loss and at your age that would not be a good thing.
If its for Gardasil (the HPV vaccine) there should be no problem at all, regardless of weight. The same goes for just about any other method of vaccination.
As for pain, it shouldn't hurt any more than a flu shot or other type of vaccine.

Hi,
I'm a bit concerned because I think I might be losing weight too quickly. I am currently at 223 pounds, and for the last week or so I lost about 6 pounds, almost an entire pound per day. Is this all just muscle or water loss?
That's what I'm guessing most people would say, but the weird thing is that my body fat % seems to be dropping too... I have one of those digital scales which can also measure your body fat through some kind of electrical impedance test or whatever... I don't know if it's too accurate though, it's just a personal scale, not as good quality as the kinds of scales they use in hospitals.
Here is a sample for what I eat/exercise during a day:
Exercise:
20 minutes walking to classes (every day)
80 minutes walking for exercise (every day)
20 minutes weight training (only every 2-3 days)
Diet:
(Note: calories are shown to the left in parentheses)
9am Breakfast:
(150) Morning Start Almond cereal
(50) with 1/2 cup milk
1pm Lunch:
(100) Boca burger meat
(100) Cup of milk
(100) 2 slices bread
4:30pm Snack:
(100) Fruit mix
(200) Honey roasted peanuts
6:30pm Dinner:
(0) Chopped broccoli
(250) 1/3 of a spinach pizza slice
(0) Fresca diet soda
10:30pm Late snack:
(200) Four pizza rolls
(100) Cup of milk
TOTAL: 1300 calories for the day
As you can see, I am restricting my calories; however, it's not insanely low, and I'm not particularly trying to restrict my carbs or anything. I'm barely ever hungry, and some of the things I am eating have a fair amount of fat, like nuts and pizza rolls, I just eat them in moderation.
The weird thing also is that I've been following a regimen like this for 2 months, but only in the last week has the weight loss accelerated so much... I think it might be because I started eating 5 meals a day instead of 3.

I think you are right about the fact that going from 3 to 5 meals makes a huge difference. More frequent meals have been proven to increase your metabolism more drastically than anything else. This is what Oprah is doing now, did you know? According to my calculations (they are approximate since I don’t know your age), you are restricting your calories enough to expect such a fast loss.
You are having a pretty good intake of calcium (milk), which is known to help with weight loss. And I hope you vary different foods in your diet and don’t stick to the same stuff every day.
Plus your exercise regiment is excellent. Your lean muscle has probably increased in the last months because of your weight lifting. That will also boost up your metabolism. Keep it up. I would say don’t worry about it unless you start loosing even more per week. If you do, just add a couple of hundreds calories per day, but do it gradually.
Good luck with it.

rajs, where are the foliates in your diet? Where are the vitamin B complexes? You are losing weight because of reduced calorie intake, but your diet (and the weight loss) is unsustainable because you are not getting enough fresh fruit and vegetables. And the white flour is just bunging up you gut. Cut out the pizza and bread, eat more greens!
And jenna, you too sound very malnourished. What do you have for breakfast? What do you mean, nothing? If you don't put gas in your car, how long does it run for?

Always have vegetables on side. Saute a big bag connected with frozen mixed vegetables in olive oil and garlic. Add some red pepper or even turmeric for additional flavor and also separate into portion-sized containers to the fridge.

Distracted dining are certain to get you in trouble. Avoid eating in front of a television or in a movie theatre, as you're bound to use up more calories.

Snack attack! Puree peaches, berries or pears for a sweet spread to be on pita chips.

People who regularly weigh themselves and monitor their progress in a journal are more likely to lose weight.
