I am considering purchasing sunglasses with the new Transitions Drivewear lenses. I would like to hear from someone who has tried them as to how they perform when going in/out of doors, say from bright sunlight into a store or theater. Does the green/yellow low-light tinting make indoor vision difficult?

Yes they work alright. They don't change real fast but U can see fine. I had a pair a friend ripped me off for, I guess he liked em more than I did. i only got to wear them about 2 weeks. U won't be wasting Ur $.

I think if you are only using them for driving you should just get the polarized lenses. The only reason they are called Drivewear is because People wanted a pair of transitions that worked in the car. If you wore sunglasses for more than driving you would probably really like the Drivewear because they do go from a light sunglass to a nice dark depending on the lighting.
