I had the surgery on both of my big toes on both sides of each toe, He removed the sides and put the acid stuff so they cannot grow back, I had it at about 10am yesterday morning, now it is 1:42 am here and my toes are still numb. I wonder if this is normal, it looks like he really beat up my toes, the one looks black and blue, with bubble blisters,,,,any advice? Thanks!

The reason why I'm asking these questions about Chiropractic is because my husband is a Chiropractor. He is going to open his own office soon and I'm helping him with some ideas about business and I'm doing the design and decorating. Your opinions as a chiropractic patient are very import to us and we could really benefit from knowing what a patient likes to see in their chiropractors office.

1. When it comes to lighting in the waiting room, would you rather have medium level lighting with stylish design or very brightly lit with standard office florescent lights?

2. Would you rather feel like you're going to an upscale luxury office with affordable prices or a standard, basic looking medical office with the same prices?

3. Would you as a patient feel better about having all of your treatment done in one private room of your own or would you rather do the exam in one room, then move to another room for your adjustment and then yet another room for your treatments?

Thank you all

I use to be a serious depressed person when i was 15, I got over it, and l feel like I'm at the bottom again right now. I lost 3 of my good friends,I have no job, because no one will hire me (i either have to much refs or not enough) I'm in debt. My family makes fun of my past depression all the time. I feel i'm at the bottom and no way out again. And I tried for 5 yrs to get out, and i did. But now I'm back, and this time I have no one to talk to when i know thats what can help right now . Ive been through this, and I know it's chemical, but this time I can't do it again...I can't go through what ive already gone through.... I can't do it, i won't do it again,

Hi, I'm thinking about looking into laser/lasik eye surgery for astigmatism in my right eye. Any one here done it before with good results? Last time I talked to my doc, he said he didn't recommend it. Something about it eventually coming back.

Not ugly looking people per say but horrible characters. I'm getting really worried because its very disturbing yet it turns me on. I really want to be normal, i hate that i don't find normal fanatasies arousing. To give you an example to see those creatures on the hills have eyes, i have fantasized about them, i feel ashamed, When im in this frame of mind, its like i'm freak, then when i snap out of it, i feel dirty.

Is this wrong or is this normal? If it aint i really wanna seek some help immediately.

I am a student, and recently I just had a blister on my toe. It's the 2nd toe from the right on my right foot. It probably formed as I wore a new shoe which was too small for me. How do you treat it with simple medication?

Hello,

I have a 5 year history of chronic pain. I was found to have peripheral neuropathy with Allodynia, herniated cervical discs (C3- C5 that impinges upon the thecal sac) Inflammatory Arthritis in my knees, and Fibromyalgia. I have been going to a pain management clinic and have been Rx'd Oxycontin 60mg every 12 hours, Oxycodone 15mg 3 x day for BT pain and lidoderm 3 x day.

While this has not stopped all my pain it has reduced it from a 8-9 to a 4-5 on most days. I could not live a decent life without these meds.

Recently I was tested for Lyme disease and the tests came back positive, I am now on Antibiotics. I have been going to a pain clinic for a few months and I see a Nurse Practitioner there and she was the one who ordered the Lyme testing and told me to see a Lyme doctor.

She recently told me that narcotics do not work for Lyme pain and that they don't work on me. I tried to tell her differently but she would not listen. She said that my meds need to be tapered and stopped. When I again mentioned my bad discs she said that Lyme is causing it. Everything I have is now due to Lyme disease at least according to her. If she stops these meds I do not want to think about how bad my life will become. I have tried just about everything under the sun from NSAIDS to Biofeedback and everything in between and nothing else has reduced this GOD Awful pain.

How can someone act like this and work for a pain clinic? Am I missing something here? The pain I have has not changed. I have been lead to believe that Lyme can be as painful as cancer pain, yet cancer pain is treated.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Would it be a wise idea to speak to the actual Doctor and tell him what is going on? I saw him before I saw the NP and he was very understanding.

Hi, I am pretty petite and in good shape, but have mild OAS, and people are always surprised, including doctors!, that I have it, it was diagnosed during a sleep study at a medical facility....I was wondering if there were other thin people who also had OAS...they say I must have just been born with it...?
