I have been on nuvaring for about 3 months... Why is the cycle so short compared to other BC pills ? Nuvaring is only in for 21 days?

Also, after keeping it in for 3 weeks (21 days) do you keep it out for the full 7 days or just till your period stops? thanks!

My grandson, Giovanni, was born Nov.3,2006,4lbs.7oz.After 4-5 days he was diagnosed with NEC.After 5 wks he recovered without surgery, and we brought him home.Dec.23,2006, he was diagnosed with RSV-early stage.Dec.27,had respiratory failure-then-and cuuently on life-support.He has had 2 blood transfusions.He is in PICU.They are at this hour,waiting on tests that have been ran on his bladder and kidneys.PLEASE-does anyone have a really similar experience?I know every premature baby is different-but if you are in the medical field,or a parent with similar experience-PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT

my mother has firbromyalgia which is a chronic condition of widespread pain... she is in her room lying in tremendous pain... unable to even sleep... how can i help her, i hate to see her like this.... it depresses me but currently medications don't cut it... the pain is bad... to clarify... put your index finger to the back of your shoulder and push in until you feel pain... the pain is half of what individuals with this incurable disease suffer through. she has had it since i was 6... and now at 16 she seems to be worse off...it breaks my heart... can't help but cry. any alternative ideas?

my bf has never been violent towards me, but dose that mean it will stay that way?? or am i fooling my self into one day becoming a victim by trying to ignore his increasingly angry and physical behavior, and threats on others (even whan im the only one who hears him)???? hes a recovering alcoholic and has relapsed 3 x's in the last month (after almost 5 sober)........the last incident was on the 24th----where he got a d.u.i. and he JUST told me last night!!! im smart enough to know the warning signs, but-------i dont want to set him off by trying to laydown some boundaries......im scared, but not scared enough????? please helpif you have any advice or definitly if you have expierienced this also...........how/when do u say enough! when it could pose more damage to not only me, but him, or others????? PLEASE!!!! i also have substance abuse in my history, self-injury, and anorexia, and a list of diagnoses and medications------i need help while im able to ask..........thanks---

its a clean & clear product and i put some after i had taken a shower. so when i woke up today, by my left cheek close to my nose its like red and i felt it alittle hot. i guessed it burned my skin because it kind of hurts. what should i put to make it atleast fade....help!!

I may have squatted in some poison-ivy. While out on a walk through the ravine with my dogy, I had to pee, and so I squatted, indiscretely in the bush. . . Now my butt stings somewhat, since last night, the time of that walk. . .
Any suggestions for ease?
Please no jokes here, I am earnestly seeking some advice, will this just go away on it's own, or?

From my head all the way to my feet, my right side is noticeably smaller from my left. I think it has a lot to do with my teeth because I grind constantly on the right side of my mouth and that may cause more pressure on my right side or something like that???

I am a teenager and since April (2006) I have had a lot of health problems. I began getting a lot of hives that would come and go and I got an infected hive on my elbow, then c.dif from the antibiotics for that, and then a yeast infection in my mouth. There was more but I can't really remember them. After the c.dif cleared up I continued to have abdominal pain so I got an upper endoscopy and after I discovered blood in the toilet (not due to anything i could think of) i got a colonoscopy. Both tests showed nothing wrong. To this day I still get hives occasionally, and I still have abdominal pain. My doctor said the abdominal pain was IBS(with just pain) caused by a disorder of my autonomic immune system that is triggered by stress. To add to all this my back has been hurting my really badly lately especially in the evening and at night. I have had scoliosis for as long as I can remember so I think that's the reason for the back pain. I tired everything for the pain but nothing worked.

My friend came to see me recently and I didn't know what was wrong with her! She was slurring and her eyes kept rolling up in her head! She even dosed off several times in mid sentence and wasn't even aware of it. She is a recovering addict of Loratabs and other speed drugs. She has had 3 accidents in 6 months! Thank God her children weren't with her. I need answers. I have searched the web and have found no medical answers. She is perscribed methadone and goes to another doctor for xanax.
