I didn't read all the answers, but the jist is that most of them don't get your question. Most seem to think the twitch is something you do with your hand or a shake or something on purpose.
It is hard to describe. To me, I get a little "chill or shiver". Everybody does it, men AND woman - most unconsciously. The best example is a baby. Everyone is looking at the cute baby and suddenly we see it "shiver shake" a little and everyone knows it had just urinated and all laugh.
I don't know, maybe I didn't get the question either, but that's my answer and I'm sticking to it!

Many causes, but one is that, if you have a very full bladder and you empty it quickly, the bladder spasms until it get back to its normal size. Also, if you have not been able to urinate for a long time, and then suddenly have to "go", the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the bladder can cause the spasms. If the same conditions happen in women, they should respond in a similar fashion.

It happends to me often usually as I'm just finishing. Just a twinge up my spine. No big deal. No idea if women experience this.

I don't know about the ladies, but the reason I twitch is to shake off that little bit still hanging on to my tip! Need to shake it at least three times and not more than that, thanks!

You got problems then. That is not normal. Shaking and twitching are two different things.
Shake it once that's fine, shake it twice that's OK, shake it three times and you're playing with yourself. So stop playing with yourself.

Wicked.
Yes, the diaphragm twicthes.
A convulsion, if you please.
Usually when you hold it in too long, these twitches will become stronger.

No Hunny, women don`t do it. Also, I can not answer your question because I am not a man, nor am I a doctor.
