I had no difficulty with my asthma,but once i got back home here in Georgia,and have not even left the air port, my asthma started acting up bad!!!
What's up with that? can any one tell me?

I have the opposite happen to me. When I was out of the city my asthma was better because there were more trees and less smog. There may be something in the air in Georgia that is triggering your asthma, I would ask a doctor.

While the air quality is worse in NYC than in, say Yellowstone, the city is actually good for the environment. If we gave up with suburban sprawl and Manhattanized our major metro areas we'd consume A LOT less energyy. I just like pointing that out.

Back onto your question, looks like it's already been answered. The pollutants in NYC are different than whatever triggers your asthma.

I agree with the person who said there is something in the air that affects your asthma.

but the same thing happened to me when I went out east and then came back home. I think we just adjust to our own environment

You may be allergic to Georgia while you may have grown accustomed to the polluted & chaotic environs of the Big Apple. cheers!
