I may have squatted in some poison-ivy. While out on a walk through the ravine with my dogy, I had to pee, and so I squatted, indiscretely in the bush. . . Now my butt stings somewhat, since last night, the time of that walk. . .
Any suggestions for ease?
Please no jokes here, I am earnestly seeking some advice, will this just go away on it's own, or?

I feel your pain!! I am very susceptible to poison oak and avoid it like the plague. Since you may have come in contact with it, I recommend you refrain from scratching it and popping any blisters. Also, aloe vera (directly from the plant) soothes the itch. Try not to take hot baths or showers and it should clear up on its own within a week or two. Be sure to avoid skin contact with other people -- you may spread it to him or her and/or make your own rash worse.

Wash with the strongest soap you have a bar of sunlight if you can get it. Don't Scratch. Treatment is usually glacial acetic acid (50% vinegar is 5%) wraped bandages. calomine lotion may help the itching slightly.

I'm immune but 2 of my brothers are highly allergic. Wash all clothing and bedclolthes that may have had contact with the affected area. If you don't want to tell anyone it's poison ivy it is also a form of contact dermatitis.

I really hope your wrong. I watched my brothers suffer terribly with it. See an MD they may better treatments now.

It should go away on its own if it is poison ivy. Try dabbing some rubbing alchol on the area. If the rash is no better in a week see a doctor.

Aveno, if you can't get Aveno put a couple cups of oatmeal in a bath tub with about 4 to 6 inches of real warm water and sit in it. I swear this works, as silly as it may sound.

Calamine lotion......you can buy it at walmart. Shake it up before applying. Also you can take benedryl for the itching. But actually the best advice is to see a doctor.
