Lately, I have been feeling kind of depressed because my friends have kind of ditched me. I'm not really sad that I have lost my old friends because we don't have much in common now anyways; it's just that I'm finding it hard to make new ones. I want to be myself and for people to like me, but I havn't really figured out who I am yet. I am kind of a quiet person around people, unless I know them well. How can I tell when I am being myself, and How do I make more friends? (I'm a freshman in high shcool)

I was waiting to be wheeled in for an endoscopy at my local hospital and all of a sudden they called a Code Blue on someone else who was in the process of the endoscopy procedure. How common is this? (My instincts tell me that I witnessed a 1 in 100,000 occurrence). Next time I get an endoscopy, should I use another facility? Or am I overreacting? This was quite traumatizing. (I have used this facility for six previous endoscopies with no problem.)

Hi, My name is Megan. I have been having wrist problems for sometime now. I am 17 and ever since 8th grade I my wrist have always hurt on and off and now it doesn't stop. My doctors told me at first it was tendentious my freshmen year. Last year (my junior year) I went back because the problem has only got worse and they told me it was Carpal tunnel and yet they did nothing for me. Now I am a senior and have been dealing with this for a while and I went back to the doctors and they are now sending me to a surgeon about this but I don't go back until March 19 and I was just wondering what you all think and what I could do to help with the pain until them. Thank you for you time.

I have been loosing my hair for over a year since I was diagnosed hyperthyroid, I asked if my hair would stop falling out and the doc said yes, things are under controll with med's now (methmazole) and I only have half a thyroid and I am on lots of heart med's that I have been on all most all of my life and never had this problem and my hair just won't stop falling out, which is making me depressed.
What should I expect? Should I expect to need a hair piece later and whats that cost? Is there anything I can do?

SOMETIMES when I have diarrhea my heart starts to pound, extra hard, and w\each heartbeat my head pounds. It's so painful i sometimes i puke.
It always pounds in the back of my head at the base. It's like I can feel every heart beat -- pound - pain - pound - pain. If my heart would just stop pounding, it would stop hurting!! :-)
I don't seem to get this pain any other time. It's incredibly excruciating......I often wonder if I am going to have a stroke on the toilet.
There is also sudden sweating.
What's up with this?????? Blood pressure?? Sudden loss of fluids?? What??????
Should I worry or not?
Thanks
((By the way -- this happens about once every two months or so))

The women that answer the following question: "Are american women obsessed with their hair? and have sort of a nervous twitch associated with it?"
"A huge percentage of the american women between the ages of 17 to 50, comb their hair in a way that falls on one or both sides of the face. Then they use a fast lateral movement of the head to sort of move the hair back. The result of the way the hair is arranged and the very frequent head movements, the woman tends to develop a sort of nervous twitch; after a while even when the hair is not touching the face at all, the patient continues to move the head as if the hair was still there. To prevent this ugly twitch from developing, it is recommended for women to comb their hair in a way that will naturally not obstruct their vision or hearing. "

Completely ignored the body of the question and felt ofended.
That made me wonder, if that is because the head/hair movements described are a sign to show assertiveness.
The med question next.

Hello, I am (sort of) having a problem with sex. I am 21 years old and on average it takes me about 4 and a half hours to "finish". I am having no complaints from my gf since she's able to have 2-3 orgasms everytime we have sex but this doesn't seem normal. I just wanted to ask people (both girls and guys) what they think is the normal time it takes. I've managed to finish in an hour and a half before but it requires alot of concentration and alot of imagination. In a way this is a good problem but in a way it's bad since I have to clear a huge portion of my day if I want to have sex, that or we both end up getting no sleep at all. If I use a condom I'll last beyond 6 hours. I thought it was normal all this time until my gf pointed out that she'd never had multiples or a guy who lasted that long. Am I abnormal?
