The women that answer the following question: "Are american women obsessed with their hair? and have sort of a nervous twitch associated with it?"
"A huge percentage of the american women between the ages of 17 to 50, comb their hair in a way that falls on one or both sides of the face. Then they use a fast lateral movement of the head to sort of move the hair back. The result of the way the hair is arranged and the very frequent head movements, the woman tends to develop a sort of nervous twitch; after a while even when the hair is not touching the face at all, the patient continues to move the head as if the hair was still there. To prevent this ugly twitch from developing, it is recommended for women to comb their hair in a way that will naturally not obstruct their vision or hearing. "
Completely ignored the body of the question and felt ofended.
That made me wonder, if that is because the head/hair movements described are a sign to show assertiveness.
The med question next.
