SOMETIMES when I have diarrhea my heart starts to pound, extra hard, and w\each heartbeat my head pounds. It's so painful i sometimes i puke.
It always pounds in the back of my head at the base. It's like I can feel every heart beat -- pound - pain - pound - pain. If my heart would just stop pounding, it would stop hurting!! :-)
I don't seem to get this pain any other time. It's incredibly excruciating......I often wonder if I am going to have a stroke on the toilet.
There is also sudden sweating.
What's up with this?????? Blood pressure?? Sudden loss of fluids?? What??????
Should I worry or not?
Thanks
((By the way -- this happens about once every two months or so))

Really u should see a doctor,,,,,
i get pounding too and for me it was high blood pressure and stress. I started a walking regimen and it helped relieve this problem some. Also, i get menstrual migraines. I get them once in a while right b4 my period which is from the fluctuating hormones. Are you male or female , how old? When was the last physical u had?
I think you should really ask a doctor to be safe.

You have left a lot of information neccessary to help you out of your details. 1 Do you commonly have headaches 2 How often do you have headaches 3. Is this different than other headaches 4. What type medication did you use, there are a lot of headache pills. 5. Do you have a fever, stiff neck, or other symptoms. Finally, if this is different than other headaches, and the worst headache of your life. And all measures to treat have failed. And especially if you have any other symptoms. Be seen immediately. Go to the ER or A&E if neccessary. Otherwise, go to a dark room, place a cold compress over your eyes, darken the room and eliminate all noise possible, and try to sleep.

Hi Nici

You need to do a colon cleanse! When you dont have regular bowel movements the excess matter gets into the blood and that is what causes most illness and disease! That is what is causing all these issues you have. The pressure builds up and then it has to go somewhere. A lot of different cleanses to choose from out there. Be sure to drink a lot more water and learn about juicing fruits and vegetables to absorb nutrients to heal your condition faster.

Best of health to you

That sounds really serious and I'd suggest going to the doctor, especially if it is frequent that you get diarrhea and then are receiving migraines from it. I use to get those headache, though not from diarrhea, and they perscribed me some stuff that really helped....but lay off milk products and coffee, It sounds like blood pressure has something to do with it.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

It could be serious, especially if you're a woman on birth control. Otherwise, it might be blood pressure or cholestorol. If youre on the pill, you could have a blood clot in the neck. All I know-I'm a guy anyway.
