Yes, water has zero calories so you will lose weight. However, your body will use the fat cells and also your muscle mass to generate the energy you need to survive. So, you will lose weight and muscle mass at the same time and cause harmful damage to almost every organ in your body.

drinking water clean water is a good thing to do.
pure water ? are you refering to bottled water.
if so i suggest you stop drinking that water as it cost as much as 10.000 times more then the water that you can get out or your tap at home. sometimes at least in the case of coca cola dansi the water you get in the bottle is the same water that came out of your tap.
as far as drinking water to loose wieght goes. that is a question that comes with many possible answers. if you drink the water
in place of food that would have been in exsese of what you need then yes you would most likley loose some wieght.
if you drink water in an effort to make yourself feel full and thus not eat then yes for a time you would loose wieght however this would not last long. in time your body would figure out this trick and just not put up with it thus forcing you to eat the food again.
the best way to loose wieght is to eat slowly a meal should take at least 30 minutes to eat . you should drink water at each meal and if your over wieght then drink a sip after each bite of food.
listen to your body feel your body when your body is full and needs no more food it will tell you stop. if you have food left on your plate or on the table fine you can feed that to the dog or wrap it up for another time. in addtion you can just look at it and say ok next time i cook this meal i know that i need to cook that amount less.
water likes to move it flows and it finds its own level. you can be like water you can move and you can find you own level too by simply drinking the water eatting slowly listening to and feeling your body and being calm like water .
i hope this was of help to you .

drinking water, ALONE? come on, that's super desperate. you would lose weight, energy, mind focus (since you are getting hungrier and hungrier, and since you dont have nutrients entering your body), and muscle control. you can survive with water alone for 5 weeks, but that's just plain survival. the best way to lose weight is to have a balanced diet and enough exercise to burn at least half of your calorie intake. try a low or no-carb diet instead. you would lose weight, feel great, and you wouldnt be on the verge of plain survival. if a guy really likes or loves a girl, it doesnt matter what size she is. it's not about being loved by a guy, it's about you loving and taking care of yourself. PLEASE DO NOT DO THE WATER ONLY DIET.

If you replace everything you drink with water you probably won't lose weight, but you may stop gaining it. Sugary beverages, even if they are diet, aren't good for you and don't hydrate you. Your body needs water to function correctly, and that includes regulating weight.

aparrently, if you drink a lot of water, it will make you less hungry since you will be "full" on water. Although i truly believe that drinking a lot of water makes you less thirsty. just make sure you get some food in there too.
