been given a machine to monitor my self the reading of it keeps going up and down some times b4 i eat its 4.3 or 5.0 or 3.3.after are eaten an hour later i test my self it goes to 7.0 or 8.0 or 8.1 ive been put on a diet plan but still its going above the normal rate the hopital have said.they said i might have to go on insulin and i really dont want to go on that.what shalli do?considering the test keep going up and down?

My neighbor (male) was yelling/arguing with a girl/woman on the other side of my duplex. It had escalated to a point where I thought he was going to start hitting her. I stayed locked in my side and called 911 on them, mainly him. I belive I did the right thing by using the safest way to prevent a woman from getting hurt. I did not get involved and let the police take care of it. So, why do I feel unwell afterwards?

hi frnds...i have started to goto a gym since the past 3 months..my trainer has asked me to try a protein supplement...so i hv started to have a protein drink instead called "Protinex" ...its known worldover...but m nt sure if it helps u to gain muscle mass or jst an energy drink... wht i want 2 knw is if i shl continue this or go for some Coach Formula/ Super Power Mass they have in d gym as my trainer said they r harmless n can be taken...but d prob is m nt sure if they work/have side effects in the long run...to add my weight is 59kg and i am a pure veg so i dnt hv any sources of proteins frm natural food like meat/eggs...hope ppl will guide me here..thanks....raj

I have an audition for LAMDA (drama school) on Saturday and I have the worst cold. The sneezing and coughing...I'm sure I can work into the monologues. But my throat really hurts and I can't really project. Need to sort it out. HELP PLEASE!

I'm so fed up of catching a bad cold twice every year!
I've been trying taking vitamines daily but the result didn't improve at all...
Has anyone got a good suggestion ?
I tend to eat healthy food and i cover up quite well when its cold outside, what can i do ?

My sister has been diagnosed with Addisons Disease, as a result of her many years on Asthma steriods. She got diagnosed whilst over in London on a holiday. She since has come home to Australia but is going through a terrible time at the moment as they try to take her off the steriods and replace with the correct drugs. Everytime she goes to decrease her steriods though, she ends up in hospital with the doctors warning her that this is too dangerous and she could lose her life. She as a result is very upset and is heading into a big depression. I am worried about her, but dont know what to do. I live on the other side of Australia to her and she simply refuses to talk to mum and dad about it. Does anyone have any support groups that I can get onto for more information and support for my sister and me.

I was just wondering if liver flushing is neccassary after the surgeory? I have read many articles on how it does help? Even though your gabladder is gone you may have a chance of having some in your liver/ or produce them their and since your gb is gone they remain there?

This is the first time ever happened! About a month ago, I started retracting the foreskin on my penis. I was able to pull it over the head, but it was really tight, and my head was sensitive. So I told my doctor, and he told me to use vaseline cream - to help with easy retraction and also to use vitamin A&D cream to help desesitize the penis head. So now I've been using both creams twice a day. Like in the morning and at night. I did't have any problems for two days, but today when I looked at my penis, it looked wierd, because usually I can see part of the head even when in flaccid state. but now the foreskin that is covered over the head is swelled up. I don't know what to do now. Is it because of using too much cream...? Or is it suppose to happen at first when using the cream...? or is the foreskin loosenin up?... I'm a little worried and confused.

I was recently hospiltalized for suicidal thoughts, severe depression, and extreme anxiety in public. I've always had these diseases but they worsended when I tried to take Wellbutrin to control it. The psychiatrist I seen basically told me I have borderline personality disorder, bipolar, ADHD, and OCD. Well he did not exactly say this but I told him that I was diagnosed with ADHA when I was 16 (i'm 26 now) and told him I would feel more controlled if I were on Adderrol again. He also prescribed me Prozac for my depression and my 'OCD' as he put it. And finally I was prescribed Klonopin for my severe anxiety and insomnia. He had me fill out forms for the boderline and bipolar and I had every symptom of those as well. The medication is helping except the klonopin makes me sleepy and he wants me to take on after breakfast. My question: have you ever hear of or know anyone taking this combo of drugs and is it possible for one to have all the disorders mentioned previously? Any advice?

Hey, so this has just started happening this year. Never happened to me before. I mean I can have allergies or colds and get sinus headaches and stuff but now its always there! I don't necessarily have a stuffy nose, its like behind it around my eyes, forehead cheeks, around my nose (but not really in it) its have something in it. Often when I move my head (especially when I'm lying down) I hear pops and I only get relief only when it pops, but just for a few seconds.. I hate it this never happend in the past (except this year) and for some reason I feel better when I 'm not in my house. What is it thats doing this? My headaches are getting worseand my eyes sometimes get blurry?

If one injected HIV containing sperm semen in hair conditioner. How long can the virus stay infectious? what about shampoo? I heard HIV can only die when the semen dries out so if it was injected in hair conditioner or shampoo it will stay infectious for longer period of time?
