2 weeks ago, I was told by an RN that my iron was REALLY low... After she pricked my finger, she measured my level at about 8.3. Apparently, this is VERY, VERY, low... She recommended iron pills and told me to come back in a week. (I need to have a procedure done, and they refuse to work on me till my level is up to AT LEAST a10). Well, I went back this past Friday - after taking 2 iron pills a day for that 1 week, and was told that I'm still low (9.1). Well, this procedure needs to get done VERY soon, so I've upped my game a lot. I went and stocked up on Liver, greens, Total Cereal, fruit, orange juice, seafood, and everything else loaded with iron. Since Saturday, I've been taking 4 iron pills a day (2 in the morning and 2 at night), and have set up a rigid iron filled meal schedule for myself to follow this entire week... What do you guys think? All set for Saturday? Any other ideas for me? I've only just heard of something called 'Kelp'... What do you think?

I dont do BM's often. Until fairly recently I didnt realize it wasnt often enough,to me it was normal. But if I dont feel the need to go is it really so bad? Often there is a sort of mucas or tissue like stuff in it. When I do go its a chore. It can be very hard to finish even in the middle of it. So if I dont feel the need how do I know when its gone on too long and need to see a doctor.

I'm pretty sure I got a UTI, because I've been having a strong urge to urinate, but only a little comes out, and sometimes I can't control it and end up wetting myself before I can get to the restroom. This is not a good thing. I have class and a test today on campus and I'm afraid of wetting myself. Is there anything I can do to prevent this or help with this until I can get to the doctor?

I have a huge, political Christmas party to attend Next month w/ my boyfriend and I bought a short, black dress to wear for the event. The problem is, on my left leg there is a small raised scar that I got last year excercising, and it's not that noticeable but I mean, I want it GONE!!! Are there any surgical procedures I can look into to have it removed? Thanks!

When ever I get back from holiday I am always ill. Sometimes it is a bad throat, sometimes an upset stomach; sometimes earache. Its usually bad enough to keep me in bed for a couple of days. I have tried not swimming in the sea or snorkelling two days before returning. I'm always careful about what I eat and drink but somehow I always manage to feel quite unwell and it takes me a good week to return to normal health. Any suggestions which would help me avoid this in the future?

I know I have a bad gall bladder. I have been fighting it for a few years now. I have not had any medical testing done. My symptoms I describe to my docotr, he says it is definitley gallbladder related. I have the bloatness, pain and attacks. My question is this can your hands peel and become itchy if you have a diseased gall bladder ? I thought that I had read it somewhere about the hands become inflamed with peeling and a itching sensation. Could someone please let me know if this can happen.
