Hiccups are the irregular moving of the diaphram according to the lungs. It is said that having sex will cause them to comback together, especially during or slightly after orgasm. Just something to think about trying if the holding your breath and drinking water thing doesn't work out for you. Good Luck!

Pinch your nose and drink a cup a water by sipping slowly. The water will soon fill up the space previously taken by the air.

Well, you could do the following:
1:Stand up side down while gulping.
2:Hop while you hiccup(note that this may take a longer period of time).
That's all I got!
Good Luck! Hiccups are really annoying!TTYL.

sounds silly but have you tried to stick your fingers in your ears. a hiccup is your diaphragm contracting and if youn stick your fingers in your ears it has something to do with the air pressure. something like if your are travelling down a big hill and your ear stops up so you yawn. just a thought you are probably desperate and this sometimes works for me. good luck

Try a spoonful or two of peanut butter. A neighbor gave me this cure over 40 years ago and it's worked every time for me. It doesn't matter whether you use smooth or chunky. Just eat a big spoonful of it.
