Personally I don’t think that there is anything wrong with it providing that you are happy. But do you know the reason why you have gained that much weight have you been eating more, or have you been on medical or anything like that and that’s why your weight has increased. If I were you I’d try and make sure that I didn’t gain anymore and providing that you do exercises and don’t eat a lot of junk food and you have a balance diet you should fine. However I would go to your doctor and find out what you BMI is and if you are okay then so be it

Apart from health risks involved , there is nothing wrong if you are happy with yourself

My experiences is that every year since I left school I managed to gain 20lbs, From 114 to 199 I now realise that i should of control my eating habits (though some of it was from 2 pregnancies)

My significant other loves me the way i am and that was never a problem with me. The issue is there is too many health risks with being overweight especially if the fat is predominately around the middle or stomach area.

Weight creeps on slowly but surely and it is much harder to lose than it is to gain

It's not healthy and the sooner you get back to a normal weight the better off you will feel. Also as you get older it's not as easy to lose and health problems begin to appear. Overweight woman in their late 30s and early 40s are prime candidates for diabetes and heart problems

There has to be some reason to gain that much...Be careful or 180 will turn into 240, then 300

If you are happy with yourself, I am happy for you.
Extra weight may not be a problem when you are young, but you really have to start watching it when you get older. My mother died last year because of problems connected with obesity.

If you have never had your thyroid checked, I would ask your doctor about it. Some times it's an underactive thyroid glad that makes people gain weight.

it's best to lose the weight. in addition to heart disease and diabetes, overweight people can have trouble conceiving, and also have difficult pregnancies - being more susceptible to complications like hypoglycemia, etc....

On the flip side, it's not cool, or healthy, to be 5'7" and weigh 100 pounds.

Nothing wrong as long as you are happy and don't get sick. But I would exercise more. Obiviously you are anxious enough to ask this question.
