ARE you negative all of the time, no you are not, for it is impossible in my opinion because every action has a negative and positive reaction its just that you see only the negative side, there is a old saying about looking for the good in everthing we do, will bring on happiness that shines through, now if you do this you will be happy some of the time until you meet the person who is bad that's when you get your butt kicked, but i would sooner be a positive person ,an optimist coupled with a good dose of common sense, and getting the mix right is called experience.
there are loads of self help books on the market but the one or two that helped me was ''i can i will'' by Norman Vincent Peale, it as a religious undercurrent but that aside he gives you a positive
philosophy to live by which is a very good reason to read it.
and any book by Jonathan Livingstone seagull, another positive insightful author, regards LF

Thought is accomplished in established patterns. We train early to learn to read and so are able to stare at a book and get real communication without sounding out every word. This is a layer on top of the layer of speech which is on top of .... you get my point. To establish new patterns is the same as training to do anything else. It takes practice. Try this; commit yourself to doing something of a small sacrifice every time you catch yourself in a negative thought. Then, every time you notice a new thought in positive outlook, do something of a small reward. An example would be to give away a penny when you catch yourself in negatives and to put a penny in a piggy bank every time you catch a positive. At the end of the week, go out for an ice-cream or dinner or movie. Whatever the piggy can afford. This way you don't count your failures but you do feel them, and you do count your successes and feel them too.

By constant and repetitive positive self-talk. every time you start thinking and talking negatively, speak to yourself positively. tell yourself that the negative thoughts are not true. repetition is the key. It takes 21-30 days to create a habit, so create the habit of positive self-talk. Speaking positively to others increases your positive energy as well.

Remember, what you speak with your mouth, you believe in your heart.

By strong Will power and Determination you cultivate your mind and set in thinking positively. Added to this pray to God regularly not only at fixed schedule timings, but always in your vacant moods. Don't allow the mind to wander aimlessly and instead think about God and pray Him to give you the strength and wisdom. Read the Novels like Count of Monte Cristo (Alexander Dumas), Plays of Shekespere , Readers Digest, Wisdom, etc., and the like which not only improve your English knowledge but will make you wise and encourage you to be brave. Forget about day dreaming. God bless you.
