I have been having problems with my heart. I am 38 year old female and my cholestral level is 175 which is normal but hdl level is 41which is low. I have heart palpitations and my heart beats really fast at times I can feel it in my throat. there has been a few times when my heart will race after bending down working in the yard or simply mopping the floor. I feel sick to my stomach a tightness in my chest and dizzy it passes within a couple of minutes. I have done the 24 hour haulter test and im still awaiting the results.

Doesn't cancer only strike people who are pre-genetically disposed and eating bad food, smoking, drinking alcohol, and chemical environemsent?

Does cancer strike in people who were/are exposed to harmful chemicals; alcohol, smokes, drugs, asbestos, etc and has NO cancer in their family genes;
or
health finatics, eating organic fruits and vegies and very small amount of organic meats and has no cancer in their family genes?
this question is about cancer and not any other disease.

I'd love to be able to journal, but I tend to find when I start journaling it makes me even more self contained and insular. At the moment I am dealing with severe depression and part of me thinks that having somewhere to write down (I'm not interested in typing it or putting it online) what I'm feeling will help. Or would I be better just trying to forget about it all and move on?

My symptoms are pain in the under arm and in the breast. My breast is sore constantly and the nipple is somewhat flattened. It is also itchy sometimes. I have had a breast MRI and ultrasound. Nothing was found. My docs tell me I have nothing to worry about but can not explain my pains. Someone please help! How is IBC diagnosed?

I developed these marks on my neck ive had them for a few months now ...it almost looks like a hickey except theyre darker like blacker, some people think its a hickey but if you look at it good its a black mark? i hope its not serious and i cant go to the doctor until next month when my new insurance kicks in. I am experiencing a clinical or episodic depression and for a month I have been living in desperation. I saw my MD and was started on an SSRI but of course I won't notice a difference for at least 3 weeks and I am struggling to hold on. I know I am not alone as many people have felt my pain and survived. Many have welcomed the pain as they grew from the experience and are living a better life. I'm all for the "big picture" but the overwhelming waves of grief and despair are wearing me thin and I just want to escape. I force myself to go out and be social as much as I am able, I try to exercise and listen to the self help tapes and so forth. It feels like I am white knuckling my way through this and I don't know how long my strength will carry me. I can't find peace right now, not even in prayer or self reflection. I saw a psychologist last week who advised that this depression was distorting my thought process and I agree with her.
Can anyone share something, anything that may help me

am 21 and my menstration cycle is very irregular over the past few months i have gotten it for as long as 3 weeks sometimes 2. in the beginning my cycle is very light but about the time it is supposed to end (its regular is 4 days) it becomes very heavy with clots. any suggestions?

I have/had blood clots a few years back in my one leg. The calf of my leg swells alot when i'm on it even for 30 minutes. I tried TED Hose but it still puffed up alot and I still felt discomfort. If anyone has used the Compression Socks I'd love to know what you think of them. I just bought a pair yesterday that is rated 20-30 compression rating. Serious answers only.

Once in a while I get a bump on Vagina when it's almost time for me to gey my period. I have been celibate for a few years so I don't think that it is a STD and I am very clean. My skin breaks out a little when it's almost time for me to get my period. Could this bump I have be due to hormones?
