You should say how much you weigh and how tall you are, and check your BMI (but since i think you're under 18, it wont really work properly). If you are in fact overweight or obese, then your mum just cares about you and wants you to be healthy. but if you're average, then you dont need to lose weight. tell her this and i also think that if she encourages you to lose weight when you're not fat, then this could lead to you thinking you ARE fat which could lead to an eating disorder like bulimia or anorexia. I think you shouldnt listen to your mother about this, as in this case she is wrong (if you're a healthy weight). she shouldnt be pressuring you into being skinny.... but you know what, being skinny is what alot of girls feel pressured to be... so yeah, just talk to your mum about it, and tell a counsellor who can help.

Well...you sound as if your mom is not doing this to HARASS you. Eating healthy and exercising are just good habits. Of course, this doesn't mean that you can't eat some junk food/fast food once in a while, just not everyday! And exercising is really not just for fat people, it's just to keep fit and healthy. No reason to be this unhappy and annoyed over something which is going to make you feel good (maybe it'll take some time though)

Yes, to an extent. She's your mother and it's her job to make sure you eat healthy and have some exercise.
I'm guessing you're too big for her to actually pick up and force to exercise, but she'll strongly encourage you. Why not pick something fun? What about DDR? Dancing with friends? Does your YWCA have an indoor swimming pool?
There's a million reasons to exercise that don't include being fat. Your mom loves you and wants you to start good habits. That's her job too.

She's just a mean old witch.
Get fat & quit excercising at all!
Show her she can't get away with that.
Maybe run away and get put into State custody.
They won't make you eat healthy or excercise.
OR you could listen to her for a change.

It depends on how old you are... If you are old enough to make healthy choices for yourself, which she obviously thinks you cannot, then no, but she wants to help you

Yes. She is responsible for you and is trying to instill good habits. Listen to your mother. You will appreciate it later.
