Ok. Wash your face with soap, and do this throughout the day, not every hour or anything, but a few times daily. Then wash it with some skin-drying agent like Clearasil (if u have that in the US - VERY effective) u can also get facial blotting tissues which help remove oils from the skin which can cause acne. Also in the mornings or when youre going out add toner to your face with cotton wool before u put ur makeup on. (wear makeup, itll cover the acne up a bit. fake tan can help too, but make sure its a non-moisturiser fake tan.) Also try to get a doctor-prescribed acne cream and/or tablets, which can help a lot. And finally, (i know this sounds strange, but from personal experience its excellent) Each nite before u go to bed apply methylated spirits to your face with cotton wool.
Theres also stuff with your diet - try to stay away from greasy and fatty foods, and especially chocolate (yeh its bad having to give it up) and drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.
And there u have it - the perfect guide to perfect skin!

I had got proactiv (I don't have bad acne, just a few whiteheads/bumps, the odd pimple, usually around that time), but I found that didn't help at all. If anything made it worse! I'm 19, but I'd just suggest a dermotolist, or just don't worry about it. It's a natural thing. You probably notice it more then other people do.

I had terrible acne - adult onset acne..

Proactive really does work- it is a bit drying- so use a non oily moisturizer- It's really a great product. To prevent scarring- DON'T PICK.

I then got it again when I was 34

I graduated to all kinds of lotions and antibiotics which didn't work. Now I am on Accutane and my skin is beautiful.

I have had bleach and laser on my face to clear up my scars. Check with your dermatologist to see if this can work for you.

This may sound over simplified but, Go get some Vitamin A take about 24,000 IU a day this will work. get away from Chocolate!

As much as is possible stay away from fried foods and eat some good salads.

Diet plays a large roll in ACNE

hey, ive had acne since i was eight or nine. so no big deal. for scars, i think neutrogena has something for that. i just started using cetaphil yesterday, like the billionth thing ive used. i liked clean & clear daily pore cleanser. that worked for me. just keep trying things until u get things u like. i always have oil on my forehead, so i use isopropyl alchohol for that.
