My house has no central heating, therefore it is cold! Very cold for the next few months! The bonus is that germs can't survive and I haven't had a cold for a good many years!

Best thing to do is,rub Vick on your chest or get someone nice to do it put on a plastic sweat suit PJ's on top & go to bed with an extra duevt the heating on full,if you don't feel better after that can't help you.

take pleanty of vitamin c drinks, like hot lemon, add a dash of wisky and stay in bed, take paracetamol or stronger if you have them and it will be gone in a day or two. The best way to get rid of a cold is to sleep it off.

try this it taste OK if you like onions. try sliced onions, with sugure leave for like 2 hours then try it your cold shude be away in like 24 hours, But take a teaspoon like 4 hours apart. it is fabulous, or there is always the chemical way buckleas.

I PROMISE YOU THIS WILL WORK!!!!! Use a medicine called 'Zicam' it comes in pill,dropet,swab forms but use the spray form for faster results. Use the one that is for colds. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY and TRUST ME you will be fine in a day. two days tops!!!!
