Magnesium is very important to heart health. Lots of people are deficient in magnesium. Grape juice is good for the hdl, particularly the purple. The white is good too, but the purple is better. However, note that a study suggests that too much purple grape juice interferes with iron assimulation. Results are not conclusive but alternating purple with white grape juice might be prudent if grape juice becomes a regular part of the diet.
