I used to work out three times a week and ate very little, but could never lose any weight. This is what worked for me ...
Eat every two hours as it keep the metabolism going. Avoid junk food. In between meals, have a healthy snack. Make sure you drink 8 glasses of water, herbal tea or unsweetened juice each day. Eat lots of fruit and veg. If you're having rice, pasta or potatoes, only have very small portions. Eat lots of the following foods as you burn up more calories digesting them than you actually consume: apples, asparagus, beets, blueberries, broccoli, green cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, apples, cantaloupes, pears and oats.

Specialized diets are maddening and doomed to fail. Try portion control(http://hp2010.nhlbihin.net/portion/index.htm) It lets you eat what you want but less of it. For example when you eat out only eat 1/2 of what you are served - chew slowly and thoroughly, pause to converse while you eat to enjoy the dining experience. Take the balance home to have for lunch or supper the next day. Also pay close attention to what you eat when you won't be active, by eating lighter foods after 6pm at night you'll be amazed at how quickly you can loose weight and keep it off. The goal really is to get to a weight you like and stay there so make changes you can live with to eat healthier and keep active, it'll be a solution you can really stick with.
Don't forget to have 8 8oz glasses of water daily and don't drink diet sodas they stimulate your appetite - try flavored soda water or mineral water instead.Good Luck!

Hello...I lost 18 pounds...very simply... all i did was stopped eating any frys,or potatoes....and started drinking green tea (i dont drink cokes or anything anyway)and i like water..but if you dont try adding sugar free mixers in your drink..you can find them in the gatorade asile...and started eating yogurt to replace breakfast.. that was IT!! I sware...I know it sounds too simple..but me and my hubby was in a contest who could lose the most weight...lol..and the weight came off in 6 weeks....

try the diabetics diet, it is a safe diet and you will lose weight, big time. you must follow it though, i have a lot of friends who have used it, including my hubby an you would be amazed at the weight they have lost, good luck to you an God Bless!!!

the low carb diet is really good. i lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks. try that just eat meat and salad or veges, u can eat fruit too. but no carbs.
