She has never really talked about him, which I thought odd, odd enough the other day I just asked about him, where he was, and she calmly told me he had died in an accident when she was 12 (almost 20 yrs ago). This relates to her in the following way: she has had a hard time opening up to me. It is as if as we get closer, she tries harder to distance herself from a relationship. I have always suspected some sort of commitment issues because of these actions. We have talked about her pulling back, and she admits she does it, but claims to have no idea why. I think this is a very real place to look for an answer. Regardless, I think she needs to see a counselor, but in the meantime, is there anything I can ask to try and gauge how she has dealt with her father's death?

is it from diastolic dysfunction causing backflow of blood into the pulmonary vasculature or from another cause. Most references do not pin the cause on a good physiologic reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am forty years old and have 12 year old twin girls. I started taking Provera to regulate my periods. I was having 2-3 periods a month. Provera has helped but the side affects are hard on me. Should I consider a Hysterectomy or continue to take Provera? I would appreciate any advice any of you have to offer. Thanks.

For several years, I have had two small tattoos, both on the left side of my body; one is on my inner wrist, and one is on my inner ankle. It seems like since I've had these tats, bad stuff only happens to the right side (w/o tats) of my body. My right foot has been swollen, huge bruises, cuts, etc. Now, I do realize because I am right handed I prob favor the right side; thus, I have a better chance of being injured on that side. But let's get metaphysical here...do you think I've upset the balance? Should I get a tattoo on my right side?
Please don't tell me that it is wrong to get tattoos...it's my option...please just answer the question directly.
Thanks.

Ive had both my toenails on my big toes removed and the nail plate treated with phenol. I had really curved nails so the podiatrist recommended it! Anyway, here I am sitting with my feet elevated and my left toe is really really hurting tonight, its got its own pulse! I was just wondering if anyone had it done and how long before you could drive and how long it took to heal and why do I need to elevate my feet? (Im not diabetic so hopefully will not have healing probs! And I the procedure done yesterday)
