I recently hurt my foot and I'm unable to work, so I bascily stay home all day and sit around. (not good) I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good exercises I could do that wont put to much strain on my foot and keep me from gaining alot of weight from not doing much?

I'm currently recovering from knee replacement surgery and I put my leg up on chair and tighten my knee and leg. Also if you lay on bed and put good foot behind you in bent position then you put other one over the side of the bed and you pull it back and forth it will work on your legs, butt and stomach.

I broke an ankle and was able to lift weights using a weight lifting bench for help but if you don't have weights; get what they call a surgical band (essentially a big rubber band) from any medical supply house and use it as a form of resisitance and invent your own exercises. You can wrap it around chair arms and do your arms or a table leg and do your legs. Abs should be no problem.

Good luck and be a patient patient All forward progress. No setbacks! Please?
