Nope, this is impossible. When you lose weight, the excess fat metabolizes and is turned into energy. You can't actually feel the fat shrinking. What you CAN feel is your skin relaxing (especially in very fat people who lose lots of weight). Skin that has been held taut by fat starts retracting, and that's the tingling these people may be talking about.
