I have seasonal depression.... well it's not diagnosed yet, but I am diagnosed (or w/e you wanna call it) w/clinical depression. However, as of a few weeks ago it suddenly got REALLY worse and nothing in my life has really changed. All summer long I was fine. I started seeing the therapist I am seeing now in January because I was at a real bad low. Then I got better as the summer came and so on. So yeah I've actually noticed it's been like this for years in a row, so it must be seasonal. Anyway... I'm going back to the therapist in a few weeks, but until then, I was just wondering what you do to help get your mood up (assumin you have seasonal depression too and are reading this...) Do you do the bright light therapy (or w/e its called)? Does it work? Did the light machine thing cost alot? Any help would be great. I'd def going to the therapist sooner, but I'm away at school and can't get home before my next appt.

Thanks everyone!
Oh btw, I'm on Wellbutrin already...

I am a woman who has always wanted to experience having my head shaved. However, I have always wondered if this is "normal" for a woman to have this experience. It is not unusual for men to choose to shave their heads but is is socially acceptable for women to choose a shaved head. Do other women ever experience this desire?

It was spreading fast in the large cities at the time. Spent 11 weeks in hospital with total bedrest and isolation. Back then, they didn't have A, B, or C names for it, so I don't know which one it was. If you had this as a child, could it have caused liver damage?

Could this be why so many medications cause bad side effects, like tired, aching muscles, bones and joints, etc.? Looked up symptoms. Called Rhabdomyolysis. Tried all of the cholesterol meds, even Zetia. Same problem. Ideas Doc.?

So, how are they considered healthy? It's not unheard of to have a fat person eating completely healthy foods and getting enough exercise. But just because someone is skinny, it's a complete fact that they're completely healthy and in great shape? I know tons of people who are skinny and cannot run for the life of them, or do anything physical.
Why do people just continuously assume things?

I have to take Allergy Meds everyday or I get Sinus infections. I curretly take Wal-it-in D, Walgreens brand of Claritin D. I only buy it when I run out sometimes my son takes it too! Now I go to the Local Walgreens just to find out that I have reached my Limit for the month. So I took other cheaper brand that I had in my med cabinet at home . waited a couple of day till November 1st, and went back only for them to tell me, that I still could not get it. So I sent my wife to get it. The problem is it is too low an amount for some families. so we need to change the law or modifie it some way. A doctors note, Bigger limit for larger Families. And help would be great? It is so frustrating to go get meds you need and have them tell you ,you can have it because you reached your limit. Who do I complain to? How can we do something about this. The pharmasist told me that it's govenmently regulated. Who do I call? He could not tell me he didn't know. Please Help me?

How much money would you consider a good deal for a gym membership?
How much is too much? I mean either monthly or annual cost (please specify). I'm asking for a gym membership from my parents for Christmas but they think it won't be worth it. Do you use your membership frequently?
What gym do you go to? Which one is the best in your opinion?
What are some things that you can do there that you couldn't just do at home (one of their arguments against it was that we have a treadmill and a few weights at our house already)?

I really appreciate any help you can give :)

As most of us know, now that toothpastes are getting so good that they are fighting cavities and having dentists losing money for not needing much filling for cavities appointments.

So chances are some are lying. How do you know if you really have them or not?

My husband came home from work with a nasty bruise on his arm (he said you should have seen the other guy) He said that him and the other men at work "play fight" like a fight club but the rules are no hitting on the face or below the belt. I said I dont like him getting hurt and he said its normal for tough guys to like to fight.. Is that true?
