So, how are they considered healthy? It's not unheard of to have a fat person eating completely healthy foods and getting enough exercise. But just because someone is skinny, it's a complete fact that they're completely healthy and in great shape? I know tons of people who are skinny and cannot run for the life of them, or do anything physical.
Why do people just continuously assume things?

No, I'm talking about skinny people who eat nothing but junk and sit around all day doing nothing and have trouble getting active.

I actually did not consider the fact that they were 'druggies', seeing as I am in junior high.

They probably have high metabolisms and so can process that food faster, even if they are not active.
As for healthy, I agree with stephanie. Skinny does NOT equal healthy. You don't need to be overweight to have a high cholesterol level.

Doesn't mean they are healthy because they are skinny. I didn't read the entire comments previously. Sometimes people have an strong metabolism or perhaps they could have a thyroid disorder that keep them from gaining weigth. I lost 13 lbs in 2 months by cutting back on snacks and late dinner. Also, a little of extra physical activity will make the difference.

People's metabolism acts differently. Also thyroid conditions can cause people to eat a lot a still be tiny. Then, they could always have worms, people with worms tend to eat tons of food since the worm is taking all your nutrients. And they will be thin, since they aren't getting there nutrients. So they aren't always considered healthy and I'm sure you could tell a healthy looking person from a person who is starving themselves.

people break down food at different rates and can absorb fat at different rates. 2 People can eat the same thing every day and do the same things and yet one might get fat and the other might stay skinny. Peoples bodies react differently to foods. This doesn't mean that some people can eat what ever they want. this still does damage to there bodies. Its just natural and everyone is different.

You know i used to weigh 165, and now i weigh 140. Its because i watched what i ate, and i worked it off. I really just ate was a lot of veggies, and drank water, plus worked out. I also went on a diet. Its called the South Beach Diet. It works. because that how i also lost a lot of weight. But you just need to eat healthy, and just cut some just that are bad for you out ofyour diet, and start eating healthy. And if i can do it, you can to. SO yeah..

Rat are universally reviled. There have been a few famous mice, Mickey, Mighty and Speedy Gonzalez, but mostly they're pests. The most famous squirrel, is Rocket J. (Rocky) Squirrel, who with Bullwinkle the Moose, risked life and liberty engaging in dangerous counterintelligence work against the KGB during the Cold War. In his merit, all squirrels are honored.

Yes you are right. They probably have a high metabolism, but are still just as at risk of heart disease and diabetes if they don't eat more healthily. Cholesterol still will clog up their arteries, so they are in no way healthy. HTH : )

just because some one is skinny does not mean they are healthy. Skinny people die of heart attacks and lung cancer just as over weight people do. It is an issue of attractiveness and acceptability, not health
