yes, there are several medicines that can cause stomach bleeding if taken over a period of time the main one is ibuprophen and advil. They will say so right on the package. But, if these are taken only every once in a while you will be alright. Just dont take them for days at a time and dont take more than they say.

As many have stated in answers, there are many medications that can cause gastro-intestinal irritation. Medications such as advil, aspirin, naprosyn, collectively called non-steroidal anti-inflamatory drugs ,or NSAIDS, have the fairly common adverse effect of GI bleeding. Doctors don't prescribe these medications if someone has had a history of a GI bleed. Also, recently anti-depressants called selective seritonin re-uptake inhibitors, or SSRI's have been found to also have the adverse effect of GI bleeding seen in percentages close to that of NSAIDS. Many times doctors will prescribe prilosec, pepcid, or other acid reducers when patients are on multiple medications due to the irritation of the intestinal lining that can result from polypharmacy. Of course anticoagulants, such as coumadin, or thrombolytics, such as TPA or TNK, will cause a large increase in possibility of internal bleeding. Patients on these medications will be monitored either in a hospital or via frequent blood tests though.
You should of course discuss with your doctor which medication is right for you. If something has been prescribed for you discuss this concern with your doctor. And of course if you are vomiting blood, passing blood in your stool, vomiting substances looking like coffee grounds, or passing black stools you should go to the ER and get this checked out, especially if you are fatigued or dizzy with changing positions.

If you mean in combination, yes a lot of medicines can cause that, and you should contact your doctor. If you mean just one medicine by itself, I know that Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen can, but if you have taken them before without any problems then you should be okay.

I'd ask a doctor or pharmacist rather than rely on any hearsay you'll find on here.
