My husband came home from work with a nasty bruise on his arm (he said you should have seen the other guy) He said that him and the other men at work "play fight" like a fight club but the rules are no hitting on the face or below the belt. I said I dont like him getting hurt and he said its normal for tough guys to like to fight.. Is that true?

It is normal, and fun just to test how strong you are and there is no simpler way than testing your strength on another man.

No. But men are boys at heart and men rib each other or play fight. That is their idea of a friendship like women have with each other. There are cars, toys (big toys) and alot of nonsense. Of course as we think they are wierd, they also believe women are from another planet. No Harm No Foul...Men will be men!

it is a rush to fight and not just for males but females too. however men tend to be more competitive with each other in the strength department, totally disregarding the fact they look like 4 year olds sometimes.

yea, well you can get a rush from verbal or physical fighting. i use the verbal method with my gf, and she was wondering why i like to fight. so i told her it gives me a small rush during and after. it relieves stress but i dont do it on purpose.

This just seems so silly, and immature. Not your question, your husbands behavior. If my husband did this I would laugh in his face, inform him he was acting like a little boy, and then ask if he wanted me to kiss it to make it better. (then roll my eyes when he said yes)
I don't understand machismo behavior. I never have and I doubt I ever will.

generally men fight more than women but your husband is a little abnormal excuse me but take care of him because he is mature man not a 14 or 16 teen.
