Depends what method of exercise routine you use. I use Bruce Lee's exercise methods because he was one of the strongest martial artists in the world. I get really quick results too. The thing to remember is you don't want bulky muscle, you want lean muscle. When you workout or more precisely weight lift you gain muscle but lose speed an reaction time. You want to do exercises that give you lean muscle so as to not slow you down any or make you huge and bulky.

If you follow proper diet, are fairly consistent with your program, and have a program that progresively increases, them you should see fairly good results in 4-6 weeks. You rprogram should be structured, so you have a basic 3-4 week plan of what you are going to every day. Before you start you should try to see what your 1rep max is for most exercises, then base your training loads on a % of these 1rep max values, rather than arb weights.

You will prob notice changes before then though. I'd advise you to also do a bit of work on your back, if you only focus on your chest, you could develop muscle imbalances which can lead to problems later on.

It all depends on your genetics. I've seen some people develop a body like you're referring to in a matter of weeks, while some spend years and never obtain that sort of body.

I'd start out working out Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with weights. I'd stick with the bench press, bicep curls, and pullups for your basic workout. There's not a lot you have to do to make abs standout, except have a low percentage of bodyfat. You can do crunches and situps until you can't stand up straight, but if you're carrying too much bodyfat, then you're out of luck.

To lose the bodyfat, try jogging 3-5 miles, 2-3 days a week, and cut down on your fat and carbohydrate intake.

Depending upon your commitment and itensity of workouts you could expect to see results in 2-4 weeks.

I would say with consistant training, you can see results in as little as 3 weeks..but you will REALLY reap the benefits in about 3 months. CONSISTENCY is the key!!!
It took me 9 months....check out my before and after pic here: http://www.healthandstrength.net

It depends on what you're doing.
I have certain videos at home that make me see results the day after I do them.
