My big toe is numb, not 100%, I can feel pressure but thats it, its been that way for @ 1 week. I have worn the same shoes for 3 months. I do a lot of hiking, but this has never happened before. Its really aggrevating!!

The day I took a urine test, I had not smoked marijuana for 30 days to the dot. I found out today I tested positive for it. I have never heard of anyone testing positive longer than 28 days. Why would it have shown up in my system still?

Background info - I was a very heavy pot user (for the past couple months I was smoking on average 5-7 grams a day), I found out I was pregnant and stopped smoking. Thinking maybe since I am carry some extra weight/fat due to the pregnancy that it's just holding on longer, since I know THC metabolite is stored in your fat cells. If this holds true, what is the maximum amount of time I could possibly test positive?

I went to the dr today due to sharp pains in my lower back, abdomen, and pelvic area that came on all the sudden. I was thinking uti because I had gotten these when I was pregnant. They took my bp and it was 152/110. They checked it 3 times while I was there and it was about the same everytime. I just checked it at home tonight & it was 148/105. I am extremely worried about this since I am so young and am worried that this may be my kidneys causing me pain. I have had high blood pressure in all 4 of my pregnancies with the last 2 pregnancies being back to back, it has been 5 months now since I gave birth and my blood pressure has been high everytime I go to the doctor since then but never this high, with pain in the kidney region too. The doctor said this was a uti and told me to monitor my pressure at home but I am scared this has something to do with my kidneys.Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? What should I do if I feel this way and my dr chaulks it up to a uti?

I am pretty sure I have an infection that has spread to my jaw and right tonsil. I made a dentist's appointment, but they can't get me in until November 10th. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain, or keep the infection from getting worse until then? Or should I just see my regular doctor and get some antibiotics?

I know that I am being selfish and not thinking of anyone else but I am having a hard time just functioning. I am so depressed.

I don't want to call anyone as I am afraid I will be locked up in a mental institution. I am not nuts - I am just having a hard time coping with my life right now.

I have been using Flonase for the past 10 years, and it has worked great. But now I have no medical benefits, so I am looking for an over the counter alternative to Flonase. Does anyone know of any or will I be forced to spend a lot to money to get a doctor prescription.

I'm curious. When a person who is terminally ill tells you that it has been suggested that they enter hospice, how long do they have left? Is there a standard amount of time left when someone should enter hospice?
I have a friend who is ill and she wont really say how long she has left. I want to be prepared when the time comes.

I always try to eat fruit, vegetables and other good foods. But my husband keeps bringing home things that are a temptation for me to eat or even something from fast food restaurants like fries etc.
If I just told him not to he wouldn't remember that. I am always on a diet and I am trying to look good for him.

I went to the doctor on Wednesday and she prescribed me Biaxin and Flovent 110. I also have asthma, but I havent had any symptoms for about two years. I have been fighting this for about a week and have been off of school for three days. My chest really hurts when I cough and I havent been able to sleep well. This doesn't feel like asthma, but I am worried because I am not getting better.

when i'm bored, i will eat just about everything under the sun, and not stop until i either go to sleep or feel sick. it started about 5 years ago. tonight was the first night in months that i didn't have work to occupy my mind and my time, and i've eaten just about everything in my fridge. i don't even think about it, i just want food, i just go in there and find things and eat it all. i don't vomit afterwards. i'm still fairly slim but am gaining weight pretty rapidly. what do i do about it?

Ok when I run in warm weather I'm great, but when the temp drops to around 55 or below my chest gets tight, I start wheezing, and struggle for every breath. It's not bad enough to make me stop, but I do have to try extra hard to get deep breaths and it sucks. What can I do, I am not a big fan of taking medicine so am looking for an answer from a knowledgable runner or physician who knows the answer. Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's a holistic treatment, I think salons might provide the service or is there a specialty name for it? Apparantly you soak your feet in a substance and before you know it, the substance is then black from the toxins in your body. Did somebody make this treatment up to see if I would believe them??

I have these sore red bumps on my scalp on occasion. I get 1 to 3 at a time usually and they can be as small as a pea, or as large as a nickel. They are usually filled with a cream colored pus and blood. If I press hard enough on them (which is very painful) they will eventually burst, but it takes a lot of effort to break them. They don't have a head to them like a zit does and they are extremely tender. Where the bumps are small bald patches appear afterward. It's so strange. I was planning on going to the dr, but I am a little frightened and wanted to see if anyone has experienced this or knows what it could be. They don't really itch much, just really sore and uncomfortable. Thankyou so much for any advice you can offer me!! :)
