I always try to eat fruit, vegetables and other good foods. But my husband keeps bringing home things that are a temptation for me to eat or even something from fast food restaurants like fries etc.
If I just told him not to he wouldn't remember that. I am always on a diet and I am trying to look good for him.

Well, you could tell him he has a choice between a fat wife or a healthy one and let him decide.

Or, you should just throw the food away immediately. Don't let the temptation get its claws in you. The quicker you toss the food, the less chance to eat it. When he gets mad, tell him you ask him all the time not to buy the stuff but he's not listening to you.

Or, you could do more of the shopping and that way there would be no chance for him to buy the junk.

It takes discipline and will power and a strong mind set ... I sent out a quote yesterday to some of my friends who are on the same "No Diet" weight loss plan that I am on ... The quote said, "Learn to say no and the tummy won't grow" ... Temptation has been the fall of many a diet

Being on a diet is will power. If you husband isn't bringing home junk your co-worker are pushing candy bars like crack. You just have to stay strong and try to resist the urge. Also tell your man to eat his junk in his car like mine does and ban him from bringing home any food.

Just explain it to him...just like you did to us. Let him know that you are trying to keep a good figure for HIM, not just for yourself. And ask him to bring home the right stuff then. Maybe if you appeal to him in a flirtatious manner, he will be more apt to remember.

look good for yourself and tempt yourself to walk away..1 or 2 fries will not hurt your diet..he is not listening...but you arent doing what you want to either...eat what you want. temptation is always there...im going thru the same thing..mine cooks for 20 and doesnt clean up after himself. food? excellent, all day long. hang in there...eat what YOU WANT

Perhaps a little performance is in order

Have objects that represent these foods and beging to stuff them on your butt, under your blouse, on your thighs.

make yoursle flook as bloated as possible.

Then ask him is this waht he REALLY wants.

A bit dramatic? Sure, but it will drive the point home

Ask him if you two could do the shopping together that way you both can compromise.

Maybe he is trying to sabotage you. Is he overweight? Maybe he resents that you are losing weight and have will power, and he doesn't.
