Who knows? 25 years ago, there was the myth of the 'placenta barrier' which most doctors believed prevented the fetus from being affected by whatever the mother took, ate, or drank. Of course, we know better now, but if it's between saving you (which also saves the baby) and accommodating the baby, I wouldn't stress too much about it.

Try to put it out of your mind and take things one day at a time.

Do not take any medicine during pregnancy. I suggest you see your gynaec, meanwhile drink plenty of fluids (water, juices, soups, fresh fruits, raw veggies) to flush out your system of all the toxins.Take about 3 litres. Good luck and take care.

You should refrain from consuming any medications that are not approved by your gynae. Better check if they are safe for consumption. Let your doctor know the symptoms that you are experiencing and see if there are other solutions, rather than taking these drugs, for them.

There probably aren't any doctors here, maybe some nurses, but you're asking a medical question. Please consult with your doctor. That's where you'll get the best advice.
