I got my belly button pierced at home safely, and it was doing fine, until I had to replace the jewelry because it was uncomfortable.
Ever since I replaced it with a smaller sterling silver ring it has been getting redder and redder. I made sure to strerilze the ring and the area around my belly button first.

At first I was only using anti bacterial soap. It was only a little pink then.

Then when I realized I was getting an infection I tried hydrogen peroxide.

I then moved to seasalt, because a friend told me it worked. Ever since I started using the sea salt, the piercing has started pussing and bleeding. I also have red bumps inside my belly button.

I also use bactine, antibacterial soap, and neosporin.

Is it possible that I am using too much seasalt, or my body is having an alergic reaction to something? What is the best way to cure this infection??

This may seem like a cheesy question, but I know there is no such thing as "Romantics Anonymous", so does anyone know any good resources out there for dealing with a romance addiction. I've been diagnosed by my Psychiatrist that l have Borderline Personality Disorder, l told my GP and he said it a hard condition to treat, all he says is keep taking antidepressants and thats it. I dont need medication l need help, l need someone to talk to. Family cant stand me , friends avoid me like to plague and l feel lost and alone. I feel like l'm going to have a breakdown and l just want to cry all the time. I hate feeling this way, l never imagined this would be my life, alone and depressed. I hate myself for letting my life spiral out of control and now l don't know how to get back on tracks. My faith in everything is gone. I can't trust people because l think they talk badly about me. I do everything for others and when they no longer need me they simply ignore me like l'm yesterdays trash. I do have feelings and they get hurt by others more often. I'm an adult and should know better but l'm afraid. What can l do?

I joined the gym about 4 months ago to lose 20 lbs and stay fit. About 2 months ago, I started taking pilates and kickboxing at the gym also. Now my period for this month never came. I took 2 pregnancy tests just to make sure that it said I wasn't pregnant. So my question is...what else causes you to miss your period? could it be the gym?.

My 6 yr old is biting her lips to the point of hurting herself. She bites along the inside of her bottom lip and it is getting infected. I dont know how to stop her from doing it. Her lip is swelling up and now i am worried that she is going to cause some kind of permanint damage. if there is any one who can help it would be greatly appreaciated. Thank you

I have to shave my chest and stomach for my halloween costume and I'm not looking forward to the pain, irritation, & itching associated with it. Any advice you can give me for making this as painless as possible???

for the last week i had a headache that never went away, and my tummy hurt. Up everynight!! went to bed @ 10:30 up at 12am, wide awake. Been taking Zoloft 50mg since March, but taking myself off it cuz of weight gain, so I just started taking 25mg at night. Should I take it in themorning? Why did my Doctor say to take it at night? I have anxiety, the norm everyday stress. Also on 25mg Tennormin for heart flutters but been taking that since 1999. How can I sleep the night through? Don't want to take sleeping pills.

I had a root canal 1 year ago . A cap was placed over it. It flared up the other day and the cap loosened. I went to my dentist, he completely removed the cap , said my tooth was fractured and that he had to remove it. I had several hundred dollars involved in this tooth then had to pay .$129.00 to have it pulled.

one day i decided to drink as much water as i could in the school day, and i drank 100 oz of water... but the only thing was i needed to leave class every five minutes because i needed to use the restroom... is there a way i can avoid this? is there something wrong with me? or do i need to space out my drinking of water, because i drank the 100 oz in about 8 hours of my school day.. I am terribly allergic to cats. My eyelids feel like sandpaper, I get 'asthma', my throat and mouth feel very painful, nose stuffy but running, the skin on my hands even gets sore. My girls love them and also, their sitter(our neighbor) has one inside. This is tearing me up! Meds don't even touch it. I've tried it all, even prescriptions.

On my stomach, the front, and the sides just above the hips (lovehandle area) I have what appears to be stretchmarks. I am 6'1", fairly athletic, and 235 lbs. I have been this same weight for about 3 years, but the marks are only 1 year old. I thought it would be something that would go away, but it hasn't. The skin that is stretched feels different than the other skin. It LOOKS like stretchmarks, but how could this be? I just turned 26 y/o, and I don't even have a big belly. What's going on here?
