I am terribly allergic to cats. My eyelids feel like sandpaper, I get 'asthma', my throat and mouth feel very painful, nose stuffy but running, the skin on my hands even gets sore. My girls love them and also, their sitter(our neighbor) has one inside. This is tearing me up! Meds don't even touch it. I've tried it all, even prescriptions.

If you've been to an Allergist and taken their advise and it's still not working for you... don't have a cat in your house. your girls will understand and be more mindful of washing their hands after playing with the neighbor's cat (before they expose you). there are always sacrifices we make for our children, but this should not be one of them.

there is this new cat breed that people can have even though they are allergic to cats. I'm not sure what it is called but u can google it up it may be a little expensive but if u love cats then u should get one becuz u wont get stuffy noses or that becuz these cats are bred especially for people who have the cat allergies.

You can either go check out this website: www.info@1800homeopathy.com, get some information here and if you are still unsure you can call them at 1-800-466-3672. Tell them you problems and see which treatment they would recommend. I know it's hard when your kids love the cats and you can't take the allergy symptoms. I get them too but not as bad as you. Hope this helps, Good Luck!
