I mean in real emergency only.Would you sue me for breaking your ribs during chest compressions or causing a minor illness like cough or sorethroat due to mouth-to-mouth breathing eventhough i've saved your life?Is the Good Samaritan Law really protects me as a rescuer? Can we be friends after i manage to revive you?Would you marry me?hehehe...(the "marry me" is not really a serious question but you can answer it if you wanted to:-))

Let me tell you something..
If I'm in a crisis and i need CPR and you know what you are doing
hell yeah i would want you to do CPR on me bones heal and sore throats go away..i just hope you don't have HIV..but i would be thank full and so would my family if you saved my life...

I would rather be alive with a few broken bones then dead with no broken bones

If you are certified for at least basic life support (basic cpr), Good Samaritan laws protect you - as long as you follow protocol. If you go up and try to do CPR based on what you've seen on tv...I'm not so sure you'd have the law on your side.

If you plan to stop for emergencies, buy a mouth guard to prevent bodily fluids from being exchanged and stash some gloves in your car in case you are dealing with messy injuries.

Would I sue you? Probably not, and even if I did, the Good Samaritan Law really would protect you... if you followed your training decently (depending on who you are and the state you are in).

Disease is rarely transmitted during emergency care, and nobody worrys about simple colds, etc. in these cases. Besides, if you used your breathing mask it should not happen.

Sometimes the victims bond with the rescuers- but usually not.

If you sucessfully perform CPR on me, we might not be friends before but you better believe we'd be friends after!

But, before you start chest compressions and rescue breathing, please make sure I don't have a pulse and actually have stopped breathing. Nothing like getting cracked ribs on a false alarm.

Sorry, can't marry you but, in my book, you are more eligible because you have bothered to learn CPR. :)
