On Oct. 13 I was bit by a Brown Recluse spider. When I began getting red streaks going down my arm 3 days later I went to the doctor. The doctor agreed that it probably was a Brown Recluse based on symptoms (others besides those listed here), appearance of the wound and the fact I've killed several around my house recently.

I didn't nor do I now have the dying tissue symptom. He gave me anti-biotics and told me it would take some time to heal. This was not my regular doctor but his associate. My concern is the lingering lightheadness, foggy thinking, nausea, and vision problems. Plus I still feel weak and generally not well. The venom at the site is no longer a large tender lump under the skin but seems to have dispersed. Where has the venom gone?

My family thinks I need to go back to the doctor though I don't think he can do much. I think all this will eventually pass and that it takes time to recover from the venom in my body. Should I be concerned or wait it out?

Alright. I plan on going to the doctor soon, but I have no idea what doctor to go to.

I had a sinus infection for 2 weeks, but now I'm better. But a few days ago I find that I'm always tired no matter how much I sleep and I'm ALWAYS yawning (sometimes as much as once a minute). And yawning shows that your body's not getting enough oxygen. It just bothers me because I yawn so much and it makes me really dizzy and I feel as if I might pass out. And if I sit for too long I also start to feel weak. My mouth has been dry for 3 weeks, and I am constanly having a swallowing reflex, but barely any saliva.

My second problem started about 3 days ago when my chest started hurting. I'm thinking it's heartburn or acid reflux, but no medicine works. I'm constantly burping and it hurts really bad even if I'm drinking water...it's not a burning sensation, it feels sore!!!

And Iv'e been nauceous for 3 weeks straight!!! I've lost 12 pounds.

What kind of doctor am I supposed to go to?

as i said she usually makes the appointments because i used to tell her everythin before but wen i first had sex i realized i realli culdnt tell her so how do i go about doin this because makin the appointment alone or goin alone will look suspicious and i think shees suspicious alreadi...plz help =/ no dumb answers thank u...

Thank you and I'm okay, i guess. 17 stitches and suicide watch, what fun. Here's a little something ya'll should know about me. I've been raped countless times by my dad and my brother, abused, seen friends committ suicide, my step-dad is dying, my mom is a wreck. Everyone runs to me with their problems but when I go to them for help, I get **** on. My family is one big wreck, that is if you can even call it a family. That is only a tenth of my life. yes, I know some people have it worse, and if i could I'd help them in anyway. I have a huge heart, if anyone asks for help, I'll help. But I don't like getting **** on in return. I came to this site to help others and to get help. And I can't believe all the rude remarks, WTF? Do others think its funny to see someone in serious need of help? All I want to do is say thanks to all those that cared, and to say **** ya'll with rude remarks.

My brother is not well he was diagnosd with depression and schisoprania. He's been in and out of hospitals. But they keep letting him out because his medicaid wont cover long stays. We try to get him in a home that they can take care of him and make sure he's taking his meds but they keep saying they cant find a place that medicaid will cover. So they just let him out with more medicine. I felt he looked ten times worst and more parinoid of the world. I felt they should'nt have let him out. Anyway he just recently got up and left he felt everybody was after him and that the cops were going to come for him. He left with no money and just siad he did'nt want to deal with anything anymore and that he will be back in a few years. He thinks where he's going they won't find him. He called a few times and siad he's ok. But I'm very worried and I need advice desperately. It seems nobody want's to help him. And I don't want him just wandering on the street with no medication.

Over the last coulple weeks I have had some mild chest discomfort. It would come and go throughout the day. I have taken my blood pressure and I am anywhere between like 117/76 - 185/89 throughout the day but my pulse has been elevated even at rest. 83-101
Normally I am at 70-77

What is the name of the medication that doctors give to patients to get rid of drug addictions immediately? I think I read this somewhere, that there was a patient who was in a coma from cocaine use, and the doctors gave him a medication to get rid of his addictions. The author was asking why doctors don't give it out to all drug addicts. I was wondering what the name of the drug was, because I could possible do a good college paper on this topic. Thanks :)
