Over the last coulple weeks I have had some mild chest discomfort. It would come and go throughout the day. I have taken my blood pressure and I am anywhere between like 117/76 - 185/89 throughout the day but my pulse has been elevated even at rest. 83-101
Normally I am at 70-77

to answer your question.......yes it is possible to have a heart attack with no pain, but it is unlikely.

there are many other factors that may contribute to heart attach such as smoking, family history, weight....etc

blood pressure also may contribute, but yours seems normal for the most part although 185 is high, a pulse of 101 is only slightly high and with the elevation of your blood pressure may indicate you might be overweight

age is also a factor

If you have chest pain accompanied with shortness of breath, heaviness of the chest and sweating call 911

otherwise call your physician for advise

My mother had a mild heart attack a couple months ago and had almost no chest pain at all. She was in the hospital for something else when they did the enzyme test to check her heart status and discovered she had had a heart attack while there. So you can have a mild heart attack without even knowing it.

yes it is very possible. my dad had the same thing happen to him, he even told my mom that he had heartburn. he took some tums and waited a while but nothing happened. he ended up going to the emergency room later on, where his blodd test showed that in fact he was having a heart attack. he ended up in the hospital for a couple of weeks. although his ekg showed no sign of a heart attack his blood test showed that he did.

if you get the discomfort when your exersing then that's a bad sign. also, your age means a lot. if your young then it's probaly just a simple problem that a small town doctor can't fix. or just a few asprins. either way, i would see a doctor and take the brand of asprins you nomrally take to show your docotor.
good luck.

Yes, it is possible. Last summer I was hospitalized with a blocked artery and found out that I had had a 'silent' heart attack! Please go see your doctor and have this chest discomfort checked out.

A heart attack can be completely silent with no pain. You do not describe the pain, your age or other factors. BP is meaningless here.

You have not mentioned yours age and risk factors like DM (diabetic), HTN (Hypertension), Smoking, Hyperlipidimia, Family history etc. Plz don't take it lightly, and go for angiography for proper evaluation.
