I am not a big time smoker, was back in my hometown and took a hit or two on friday. Tuesday my job pop a oral swab test.

Don't worry about the oral. 2 days like prvious posters say. Pee test is the bad one. It stays in your system for 21 to 28 days, depending on diet, and amount you smoke. If you are worried, go to local herbal store and get some "Golden Seal Root Powder" If you smoke all day everyday, then stop and take about 10 a day for 4-5 days, if you smoke once in a while take 2 a day for a week. Also cranberry juice works, about 4-6 litres in 2 days.

I did some research on this a few months ago, and found out if you are a occasional toker, the swab test will only detect the previous two days. In other words if you toked on Friday, by Tuesday the oral test cannot detect it on Tuesday. Be thankful it wasn't a urine, or blood test. Oral tests are inexpensive ways for companies to screen new hires, and post accident investigations, but are flawed to the employees favor.

it really depends on how much you really took into your system and how long ago was the last time you smoked. If it was just a couple of puffs and you haven't smoked in 6 months or more it can get out of your system in a week, however if it has not been very long since you have smoked it could take up to 30 days. But, you never can tell because everyone's body is different so I would recommend that you get some system cleaners at GNC or something just to make sure for your work

Was it grass or resin? Grass being stronger can show up on a swab 2-3 days later but you would need a couple of joints. If it was a blood test you would be in trouble as depending on usage that can be traced for up to 3-6 months.

all these people are forgetting that it was an oral swab test. it will stay in your blood stream for up to a month max but if it was a oral swab test it would of only been in there a couple of days so youll be okay

it stays in your body fat for aaaages and the same is true for body hair.
Rinse your mouth with alcohol based mouthwash, this will help disolve any THC left on the surfaces of your mouth.
The test is non-conclusive. If I am smoking a bifta and you are in the same room breathing in my smoke then the trace will still remain. Who is to say you weren't at a big party and yes, now you come to mention it the cigarettes did smell a bit funny...

Naughty! It stays in you for about 8 to 10 weeks. Your test on Tuesday will be a positive one. Just say you were at a party where it was going on and it is secondary smoking that is producing a false positive.

Light use, small dose - should be OK depending on the strength of the stuff. Nobody has yet mentioned that the stuff will stay in your hair forever; you only get rid through a haircut -be thankful nobody tests that way!

Don't panic. You will be fine if they are doing a mouth swab. It will only be detectable through that method for a day ar two.
