I was on the shot for 1 year. It has been 7 monthes since I last taken the shot. I'm worried that this is not good because I have not had a menstual cycle or even spotted. What should i do and what are the possibilities of things that could go wrong. Is it healthy not to have a period?

When taking the shot, you didn't have a period, and now it will take your body some time to adjust to being off the hormone. Sometimes it can take over a year to become fertile again, but if you are concerned, it will never hurt to have yourself checked out by your gynocologist.

The only shot I know about is the Depo shot. It takes up to 1 year to get your period back after your last shot. Mine took 6 months. Others I know take 1 year plus. The only thing I can say is plan for a lot of pregnancy symptoms and a lot of side effects.

It can take up to a year for the hormones to balance out after you take the shots. Try not to worry about it. Even if you haven't had a period for a long time, you can still get pregnant. Any chance you can be pregnant now?

It's probably because your body is still trying to funtion normally without the shot. Or you can ask a doctor.

it can take up to a year to get back to a regular cycle again. but you can see a gyn who can give you a hormone to bring it on.

get ur pregnancy test done
there r side effect of long acting hormonal injection in form of this kind that u r having
but it is better to be safe
