TAKE HIM TO A LICENSED NUTRITIONIST OR HOMEOPATHIC DOCTOR. HE QUITE LIKELY HAS A VITAMIN DEFICIENCY OR MAY GET TOO MUCH SALT. CUT OUT ALL SOFT DRINKS & CAFFEINE.DON' T USE PRESCRIPTION DRUGS FOR THIS! DON'T MAKE THE CHILD FEEL GUILTY!

Besides the obvious, stopping fluids,etc. There may be another possiblity. I don't know if it effects boys as it does girls, but when my daughter was younger she could be looking right at you and have urine running down her legs before she realized she'd wet herself and bed wetting came along with it. Turns out her uritha(can't spell it) tube was too narrow and this restricted the muscle which controls the ablity to hold your urine until you can get to a bathroom. This happens in a relaxed state, like sleeping. If the obvious doesn't help then I would recommend that your son be taken to a uroligist. This is one of their specialties. And reassure your son that no matter what, that he's still a great kid and this will pass.

Boys seem to take longer than girls to stop bedwetting with my son i stopped giving them drinks a couple of hours before bed time and kept asking him every half an hour if he needed loo and then asked him to go just before he went to bed..........if he does have an accident just make sure he no's its ok nothing to worry about no big fuss it happens and hes not the only one that does it.....I do feel sorry for them at that age because they get embarrased and dont want to stay at friends house incase it happens there......hope you and he get on ok.......

You cannot stop this from happening, he doesn't do it on purpose so punishing him only makes him feel bad. It is a medical condition that may be helped by medication. See a doctor and discuss this. He will eventually grow out of it but until then use the disposable underwear and put a plastic sheet on his bed.

they tell me if your child doesnt stop by age 10 to look in to ways to stop it medication wise...but they say to stop giving liquid about 2 hours before bed time and to wake them through the night

Let him know that he is LOVED? That he has no reason to think he is any different from ANYONE ELSE? That EVERYONE is different from someone else in SOME WAY?

ask him what he does everytime he pees the bed and when u ind out try to let him avoid doing it
